I was watching TV a few nights ago and a commercial for "Time Squad" came on. Anyway, the robot thing tells the kid that Abe Lincoln shouldn't touch people like that (while showing a clip of lincoln giving a woman a wedgie). The little Sherman kid then says "And neither should you!"

Yesterday or so when I saw the commercial again, the robot said "And Abe Lincoln shouldn't do that" (or something similar). The Sherman kid then said "And neither should you!" just like before.

So, did they change the commercial, make two versions that are still shown, or did I imagine the first version?

I've seen both versions, and I think they're both in rotation, along with a third. At least one shows Larry smacking Otto's hand and telling him to be quiet. I rather like the line, "I come from the future where bacon is good for your heart." It's the Homer in me....
