Good observation! It's interesting how they theme episodes by just one gag.

A Peck o' Trouble Dodsworth receives airtime yet again.

Operation: Rabbit is one of the four good Coyote/Bugs cartoons. It was directed by Charles "Chuck Chuck Chuckles" Jones as nobody else could use Wile E. during the classic era.

Mouse Mazurka is one of the more boring 1940s WB cartoons. It is also a little too long.

Dr. Devil and Mr. Hare It could have been worse. They could have showed all six of Taz's cartoons!

Tweety's S.O.S. He's strong to the finish 'cause he drinks explosives, he's Sylvest... the Sailor Man!!

Show Biz Bugs must have been edited. How can you drink Uranium if you can't drink gasoline! IT JUST DON'T ADD UP!

I know that Show Biz Bugs is edited, but there was no gasoline that I know of. Here's the scene as I remember:
Daffy-"First some nitro glycerine! (Drinks) A good amount of gun powder! (pours into his mouth) Some Uranium 238! (Drinks) Shake well! (Jumps around) Light an ordinary match, girls, you better hold on to your boyfriends! Swallow the match, so! BOOM!

In Show Biz Bugs, Daffy did drink gasoline. I found out on the Censored Cartoon page.

Because gasoline is readily available around the house, but uranium generally isn't, unless you're Homer Simpson and keep a chunk in your toolbox. It's im-eye-tate-a-bull.
I actually liked "Mouse Mazurka". Wasn't that the same mouse form the short with Bluebeard and Porky ("Popovers!")? I just hope kids aren't encouraged to follow enemies or loved ones to the great beyond by chugging poison after viewing this....
Turned the channel on "Dr. Devil". I've never liked to see Bugs lose, and a clunky Lava score only makes it worse....

Gasoline was the very first thing Daffy drinks in the original version. He says "First, I drink a generous portion of gasoline..." The rest is exactly how you remember.

Gasoline being edited really bothers me. Only a really stupid person would go so low as to drink gasoline.

Hmmmm... I seem to remember a 4 year old getting his hands on gasoline and tried to drink it. I suppose he's an idot.

(geez, Sveven, no wonder you got banned.)

Hey, at least the current edit is better than what WGN used to do in the late 1970s and early 80s -- their version of 'Show Biz Bugs" ended with Daffy and the exploding xylophone.

Yes, WGN-TV channel 9 here in Chicago was notorious for editing some (but not all) scenes from certain cartoons.

When they had "Southern Fried Rabbit", the whole "Bugs in blackface" scene was removed, but yet they kept in the scene with Bugs dressed as Abe Lincoln giving Sam his card and telling him to look him up at his Gettysburg address. Their version of "Fresh Hare" ended when Elmer handcuffs Bugs and Bugs drags him off to jail. The whole minstrel show gag was cut from that point. Yet, they used to show "September In The Rain" uncut.

Go figure...

CN should at least edit the end with "Fats Waller" and "Louis Armstrong," instead of editing out that AND the scene with "Al Jolson" like they usually do when they show "September in the Rain."

Personally, I like "September In The Rain". Either they should show it in its entirety or not at all.

Do you realize that with all the edits, the CN version runs just about 3 & 1/2 minutes long?!?
