[indent]A lot of people like those shows and no one has even seen Phantom Investigators. I think there is room to fit in everything.
Off-topic, moving to Warner Bros. Club...

Pokémon died years ago. Its time they pulled its annoying little plug.

You're saying you want hard-working people to lose their jobs and become unable to bring bread home to their family and loved ones?

Yup, here it comes... guilt-trip.
Pokemon and Looney tunes don't need to be canceled. I actually kinda like pokemon...well Team Rocket anyway. *dodges tomatoes* Pokemon's pretty funny sometimes, but without Team Rocket it wouldn't be worth watching. At least that's the way I feel about it....
You can add Scooby Doo to the list. That dog needs to be put to sleep already. I really don't see everyone's attraction to that...dog. It isn't even cute. He's just big and stupid.

I don't really think any of the shows need to be cancelled but the time slots should be played with to make them more watchable for their fans. I think the biggest slap in the face is actually still having new episodes to air and not doing so (ie The Zeta Project being replaced by Phanton Investigators and JL:TAS on CN). While there are quite a few shows I don't care for I don't think they need to be axed - I know what it's like to be a fan of a lesser known show and how much it sucks to see it cancelled.
Also I think it would be near impossible to cancel ThunderCats - considering that new episodes of the series haven't been made in over ten years.

I agree. Virtually every program on these two networks don't need the axe, but rather timeslots need to be changed. We don't need endless Cartoon Cartoons, or constant Pokemon.
I actually like what Kids WB has done, air repeats of show on weekdays and show new episodes on Saturday.

Shows They Should Move:
Scooby Doo
Looney Toons
Anything with the words "Tom" and "Jerry" in it
Thundercats
Pilot Canidate (They should "move" this one into deep space, where no one will ever have the chance to "unleash the evil" and show it again...)
Anything with the name "Gundam" in it
Shows They Should Cancel:
Pretty much all of the Cartoon Cartoons except for "Samurai Jack" (I can see the hate mail now...)
Rescue Heroes
Can we please have some reasons why you would like to cancel these shows, guys? I mean, honestly, just because you do not like something, does not mean you should just cancel it. Give some information to back up your opinion, so we can get a better idea of why you would do so.

Okay.
Now although I did not give a specific show to be cancelled, I can explain a couple of reasons why the ones that get canned should, aside from the obvious reason of ratings.
One reason is that there is no definitive theme. Shows like PPG or Dex's Lab are good because there is a constant action theme, but the heart of the show is its humor.
However, there is something to be disgusted about in a show's cheesiness if poorly executed. I can't think of a current show that does that, but maybe someone else can.
Time displacement is another good reason. The main problem with Scooby is that it is on too much, like the 1970s somehow exactly matches 2002. And this was happening before the movie promotion. Where are the 100+ episodes of Captain Planet (that was a slightly cheesy show)? Or the 50+ of Exosquad? So to clarify what I said about Cartoon Cartoons, definately keep them, but don't air them 3-4 times a day. Looney Tunes would probably only need 2 hours a day MAX.
Later, heroes.

I agree about the Scooby Doo thing. I currently don't have Cartoon Network anymore, but showing all spectrums of animated entertaiment is what it's there for. Scooby Doo should NOT be in prime slot on the WB's weekday afternoons. The 1970's don't compare to shows now. Next to none of the kids watching it even know who Casey Kassem is. Having to watch Scooby Doo before Yu-gi-oh is toture. :D The show is not timeless and shouldn't be on with comtemporary fare.
Rescue Heros in IMO is an awful show. I have sat down and watched it and been urg. Nothing they do is half-exciting and their only purpose is to try to look cool while doing stupid rescues. Watch it... they defy the laws of gravity and physics so much it fails to be funny. Normally that wouldn't be a problem in a cartoon, but RH is trying to be a real-like show in which the world of the characters is a dangerous real-world type place. And their end bit about safety is such a rip-off of GIJoe and Captain Planet.
I haven't seen Phantom Investigators but it just looks bad. -___-;; I don't see a bright future for it.

I agree they should keep "Samurai Jack" (one of the reasons I keep my TV on Channel 45), and the 'Puffs (two of my nieces loooooooove that show), and the Eds (that show is such a hoot, especially that greedy li'l schemer, Eddy).
"Rescue Heroes" belongs on ABC Family ("It's Itsy Bitsy Time!")
or Nick Jr., where it will be fully appreciated by its true audience: little kids.
The stories and animation for "Rescue Heroes" are sooooooo white bread and mayonnaise. I'd rather watch old reruns of "Thunderbirds" (a much better and cooler rescue-themed show, even though the Tracy brothers dressed like overgrown Boy Scouts).

This thread needs to be closed. I remembered how worried we were about flames when we have a thread about our favorite cartoons of all time.
