Whats Inu-Yashu??

I keep hearing about inu-yashu( i think thats how you spell it) and since its apparently comeing to ASA I just wanted to know what its about. Your help is appreciated and thanks for your time

Inyu-Yasha is the newest manga/series by Ranma 1/2 creator Rumiko Takahashi.

estentially it starts when a girl (who is the reincarnation of a former demon hunter) inherits a stone from her grandmother. things start getting out of control when she is sent back to medievil times and is confronted by a centipede demon who wants the stone for it possesses great powers (hell it sent her back in time). during this strugle she accidentally releases a demon (Inyu-Yasha) from the tree he was trapped in.

there is a lot more to it but it is a romantic/action/comedy deal with some great fight sequences and good chars (Yasha's brother is so evil).
