I've been getting some of the weirdest questions thru my Bugs site. Someone sent me this e-mail last week about architecture, which I know nothing of. I was thinking of "Upswept Hare." "Hare-Way to the Stars" of course came to my mind, but the person was asking specifically about a house.
Does anyone have any info I can pass onto this individual?
<< I have learned from another faculty member here at the School of Architecture at the University of Southern California that there is a Bugs cartoon that features Bugs occupying a very modern house with all-glass walls.
Apparently the house in the cartoon matches very closely a real house designed in the 1950's called "Case Study House #22"
The architect of the house (Pierre Koenig) was extremely pleased and flattered to have discovered that the house was in the cartoon, and I want to see if I can find a copy of the cartoon to show him. I have no idea what the name of the cartoon was. The house has glass from the floor to the ceiling, and was a very popular house in the 50's and 60'. Many many movies were made there, and it has become very famous. The house sits on a cliff overlooking the city lights of Los Angeles. You can see an image of the house at:

Thanks everyone!
