"Food Feud" sounds like it'll be gone, come Fall 2003.

It doesn't sound as bad as I was expecting it to be. I'm a little leary about how their going to treat the Stargate series. They'll probably overload it with educational messages. But at least TMNT is making a comeback!
So, is that the same Kirby as the one that started in Japan recently, or is it something new? 'Cuz if it's new... *fist-shaking action*

The plot's the same as the original, so yes.
The only things that interest me are Kirby and TMNT(And they may not even be good). The rest of the block can go to heck.

As far as I know, Digimon and Power Rangers are either going to the ABC network, or ABC Family, or both. I guess we'll find out for sure when their fall schedules come out.
As for the new Fox Box shows, I'll probably check out TMNT and Kirby and see how good they are.

Good question.
Next up is the ninja themed Hurricanger (http://www.classichero.com/hurricarangerimages2.htm) and I was really curious to see what the American adaptation would look like...
As long as Stargate isn't like that Alienator crap, I think we'll be safe.
Does the article mention who's behind the prodution of Stargate: Infinity? Any names we know and trust?

Hmmm, the Fox Box has a crappy name...but the shows sounds remotely interesting. I'm gonna be on the look out for the new TMNT series and maybe Kirby. I'm indifferent about Stargate. I like the first movie, but I didn't like the second movie and the show. I'm curious about the cartoon so I'll give it a try.

STARGATE INFINITY reunites the team responsible for such acclaimed educational programming as the multi award-winning "Captain Planet" and "Where on Earth is Carmen Sandiego?," the first Emmy award-winning FCC friendly series.

...that could be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Personally, I'm looking forward to Stargate: Infinity as it will focus more on the things that I always liked about Stargate which were the scientific and historical research the team would perform.

I must check out TMNT and Kirby... and perhaps I'll check out Muscle. I have a TON of those guys sitting in my closet with my Monster in my Pocket figures.
Though... with 3 shows airing secondary/encore episodes in the same morning, I hope 4Kids might replace them and consider getting the rights to the Megaman EXE series is Kirby goes over well.

Still no word if Ultra Tiga (http://www.classichero.com/tigaimages.htm) is going to go PR format with American actors and Japanese stock footage or all just dubbed.
I just hope they stick to the storyline and keep up the production that PR has. If not and they screw around like Masked Rider and Beetle Borgs did.
If they do, the show won't last half a season.
Stargate Infinity.... could be good or bad. World's not the same place as it was back when Carmen Sadiego and Captain Planet were made. To their credit, they looked really good and were pretty well done.... for what they were. I'm hoping in this more violence and action friendly cartoon world we live in now that they can pump out some good stories.
TMNT.... I'm leary as to whether this show'll turn out good or not. If WB was going to be doing it I'd say there was an almost guarantee the show would turn out to be a show stopper. I hope it's good.. TMNT deserves a comeback.

Here are my comments:
STARGATE INFINITY: Well, I'll watch the original movie today after school (I don't know if it's the Stargate we know about; it's has the same title and premise, but it's not from MGM). About this, well...it looks interesting. But let's just hope it's not cheesy or campy and ruins the original Stargate.
ULTRAMAN TIGA: Mixed view...I kinda like the primise, but it seems a bit awkward. Might as well just give it a try.
KIRBY: Are you kidding me? KIRBY RULES! I can't wait 'till FBC debuts THIS series.
KINNIKUMAN: ULTIMATE MUSCLE: Uh, I'll get back to you.
TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES: Believe it or not, there are still kids at my school who remember this series. Let's just hope it drives kids from the darkness of garbagy cable TV and into the light of what their elders grew up on, like the new He-Man and Transformers series on Toonami.
FOOD FEUD: LOL This is a joke, right? I mean, food turning into monsters?! Jeez. Maybe FBC will drop this for the turtles come midseason.

It looks like that this schedule has almost no adult appeal. There's not one series that looks remotely interesting, not even Nijia Turtles. While the original TMNT mini-series was good, the series was pretty underwhelming, especially after the show went to CBS.
It is also obvious that some of the shows are place-holders for the inevitable arrival of Pokemon and Yu-Gi-Oh from Kids WB (Food Feud anyone).
While Fox Kids ceased to be interesting years ago, there was always a show or two that was somewhat interesting in one way or another. This schedule lacks even that. It just seems like a long four-hour commercial.
I'll stick to Kids WB. From what I heard things are going to get interesting on Fox Family and Cartoon Network on Saturday mornings this fall.
R.I.P. Fox Kids
Mister Intensity
Kirby and TMNT and that's it. Nothing else there even remotely sounds interesting to me. I'll give the others a chance, but I'm not expecting much.

While I'm not going to praise the rebirth of Fox Kids I think there are a couple of shows on the schedule worth checking out - these being Stargate: Infinity, TMNT and Kirby. I plan on watching Stargate out of respect for what I considered an entertaining movie and tv show. TMNT is a labor of love and while I had hoped to see WB Animation be put in charge of this property I'm holding out hopes that 4Kids will do a good job with this series and that if the series is a success we'll finally see a new Thundercats series with the same quality. I think that Kirby could be an interesting series depending upon how it's dubbed.
While the schedule doesn't have near the appeal to me as it did many years ago I still plan on giving it a shot - especially after the lack of shows on KWB, IMO. With the status of Zeta Project and Static Shock still on the fence the only shows I'm concerned about is X-Men Evolution, Jackie Chan Adventures and the upcoming Ozzie and Drix. Next fall should definetely prove to be interesting.

TMNT looks to be the only show I'll check out on Fox. The rest seem uninteresting to me. I ma pretty excited to see what this incarnation of the Ninja Turtles will bring. As a long time fan of the series and the characters, I'd really like to see a new wave of TMNT histeria hit the country.

Like most folks here, the big highlights for me on this block are Kirby and TMNT. With the latter I'm hoping to see which path will it follow the most: the TV show or the comics (or perhaps both), even though from what I've heard, the comic version is an entirely diffrent animal storywise. The only thing I know of the comic story is that the April/Casey Jones coupling had reached 'Married with Children' status and that Don's a cyborg. *cries at the last part*
On a related note, one I know ain't ever gonna happen again...
*crosses her toes in hopes of having Usagi Yojimbo cameo in the new series.*

Alright, Kirby! I guess this finally means we'll know its gender... no more sexual ambiguity for the poor pink puffball. Now if only we could figure it out with Toad...

"FOOD FUED", And I a, counter with a Pepto Bismol. Plugs bottle with napkin and holds out lighter. :D :p Next!
"TMNT", I thought CN was getting TMNT.
"FOX BOX", imagines a Kids' WB like logo clone flying around the screen.
"Stargate: Infinity,", I remember this series at one time and it had some really good CGI effects.
"Kirby", another attempt to spawn a video game based television series. Even Nintendo gave up on this game at one point back in the days of the N64. Could be a good series, could be bad. We'll have to wait and see.
"Kinnikuman", Sounds like a Biker Mice from Mars / DBZ mix. Next! :p
"Ultraman Tiga", Probably a Resident Evil / Bubblegum Crisis Tokyo 2040 mix. Sounds good.

I'm looking forward to Ultraman Tiga since I grew up watching the original Ultraman series. Someone asked if it will be redone with American actors ala Power Rangers: absolutely NOT!! The show will be dubbed as that's what 4Kids does. Changes always have to be made since we don't understand Japanese culture and jokes relating to famous Japanese persons would have no meaning to us. Regardless, this is the live action show that started it all, Power Rangers eat your heart out! Ultraman can transform into various fighting modes and has to defeat his enemies in 3 minutes or less or he runs out of energy and dies (theoretically). He can use energy weapons to fight but depletes energy faster. The choreographed monster-fighting sequences are actually very cool to watch. I recommend that you check it out.
TMNT hit me after my prime cartoon years, however I still enjoyed watching it (and the movie) with my younger brothers. I'm glad it's coming back.
Kirby? I missed that completely but people seem excited about it so I'll see what it's all about.
Stargate - Infinity sounds really cool. Yes, it's one of my alltime favorite movies and I enjoy the series. I'm hoping the educational aspect to it will be from the historical research of ancient Egypt. That was one of the best apects to the movie, and ancient Egypt is mysterious. I heard that the cartoon will take place farther in the future from the current series. I'll check it out.
Kinnikuman: Ultimate Muscle sounds a lot better than the wrestling show KWB is bringing this fall, but will have to find out. Not sure how a superhero muscle-man wrestler from outer space is required to wrestle others to regain his throne, but with the popularity of wrestling, superheroes and anime all combined in this one show it could be a sleeper hit.
Food Feud? Huh? Fighting with your food? Seems really weird, so I will obviously have to watch it to find out what this is all about.
