Were my eyes deceiving me, or was Bobby playing Dance Dance Revolution? Were my ears deceiving me, or did I hear J-Pop on american television(Morning Musume- LOVE Machine)??? It wasn't as funny as the Simpsons trip to Japan, but it was pretty good over all.:)

Good way to wrap up the season and funny too.

Can't wait for Hank to see that Lady Bird's having puppies. (Did you see the other dog try to mount Lady Bird while Luanne was on the phone?)

Can we talk about the episode please and remain on topic.

I thought this was a good way to end the season. Sure, not a cliffhanger or anythig, but just a very enjoyable and fun hour long episode. And I gotta agree with Chris - Ladybird is definatly gonna be pregnant next season...which will be interesting. Isn't Ladybird 13 years old, according to Hank...or somewheres around there?

I don't know about the rest of you, but i can't stand standard japanesse music and i can't stand dance games!

I also don't think japanesse/chinese/korean women are that nice to look at/pretty. I'd take a Mexican/Latino chick any day before i'd take an Asian girl.

Good episode overall, and a nice way to close out the season. Peggy's still annoying as hell, to the point where I want to change the channel, but there was enough here to keep me watching.

Plus, it can't be long before we get an episode where Hank's brother comes to Texas (I'm guessing he'll have a wife by then).

I'm not much on the women, but the JRockers I adore, because I have a weakness for effeminate guys. ^^

Well as long as they don't look like TNBA Riddler than I'm okay.

Note Peggy makes two big errors in this episode. First, when mentioning the title of her article, she refers to Cotton as a "cripple". The AP stylebook says that word isn't used in a newspaper, preferring "handicapped". If Peggy were a real journalist she'd realize that. Secondly, she says they'd love her in Japan because of her large "unbound feet"...but foot-binding is a Chinese custom.

It's worth it to note now both Homer Simpson and Hank Hill have discovered they have half-brothers...and both are somewhat loud and abrasive men. Loved the bit where Hank suggests his brother threaten to kick the ticket clerk's butt in English, and he repeats it in Japanese. A pity I didn't make a note of the phrase in question.

Japanese girls have a certain beauty all their own, but not quite the spirit of American girls...they seem too quiet and innocent to really approach, much less kiss. I suppose being young Bobby has yet to learn inhibitions--right on the street, no less, when a Japanese man won't even offer a woman compliments in public (and maybe not even in private, until after the wedding?)....

And Dale gives his own interpretation to home security. "Gimme your shirt, Billl." *smash*

Oh yeah, I almost forgot about Dale and Bill. They were my favorite parts of the show, especially when they said they were making love to each other to the police. One person I didn't see was Kahn, I figured he would have said something about "that hillbilly" Hank going to a place like Japan.

As for Asian women vs. whatever other type of woman, to each his own I guess. I find them to be more interesting and attractive once you get them to talk to you and loosen up, and most Japanese women I've dealt with in the past can be very flirtatious.....but now I'm really getting off topic so I'll just stop here.:)

The first half-hour was not as good as usual. I thought the writer's would have provided a better motive for Cotton going to Japan. Apology isn't his style. I also think there were too many subplots; though Luanne's reactions to Hank's phone call were quite funny.

The center of the episode was the brothers chasing Cotton. (I guess the moral is that wars can ruin family relations, but that peace in a family can uphold peace in a nation.) Those scenes were good. Yes, I guessed the ending -- there was no way that the writers would let Cotton insult the Emperior! -- but the transitions to that ending were logical and the jokes were good.

Mr. Harvey, I think you're right. And I think Ladybird isn't going to be the only one. ;-)

I think King of the Hill is the best, and most underrated animated series on TV right now. And this episode really proved it to me that it still has steam left (there was never any doubt, but it's still growing strong) and I for once liked the character of Cotton in an episode and didn't cringe at his on screen time. And the fact they made this an hour and it worked so well....isn't that a first for prime time animation of this sort? Maybe not, but it sure is rare.

I know I mention this alot about various movies and TV shows, but I doubly mean it for this one: I want a DVD release of all the seasons of this show.

I only saw a few scenes of this episode since I was flipping back and forth between commercials while watching Dinotopia at the same time. But it really caught my attention when I saw Bobbie dansu-ing ;) Dansu!

It was a good episode, really cute. At first, since I hadn't seen the beginning, I thought they were in Japan Town or something. But I eventually caught that they were in Tokyo. Yeah, I can be slow sometimes. I love Japan! Someday, I'll visit myself!

I want that girl's watch!

So, Hank has a Japanese brother, huh?

I think that this plot was one of the "ideas for a movie" Mr. Judge referred to in interviews.
