(1) Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker - The Original, Uncut Version
(2) Batman: The Animated Series - The Legend Begins
(3) The Batman/Superman Movie
(4) Batman and Mr. Freeze: Subzero
(5) Justice League
I'd have to say the Justice League DVD is the worst. Hardly any special features (and the bios and trailer are hardly worth looking at) and a medicore "movie" makes it by far my worst buy. And, just for the record, ROTJ Uncut is definitely the best.
See ya!

I agree - Justice League is the worst disc. It has nothing for extras. Static text pages? Wow! Hero bios that were poorly written? Wow! Trailers? Gasp!
The Batman Beyond: ROTJ DVD is by far the best 'Batman' DVD put togethor so far. Te commentary is great. The featurette isn't actually as shameless as most of them are. I just wish we got to see this kind of stuff on the other DVDs. Kirkland said there's alot of material available that should have been on the Sub-Zero CD. And the material available for the other discs....*sigh*...

The Justice League DVD looked the best. They did the best job cleaning it up. How many time are you going to watch extras? I am worried about the actual content I am buying. Which brings me to the worst of the bunch... The Legend Begins. Thumbs down. I've seen better clean up jobs in New Jersey.

Yeah, I agree Jim, that commentary on the ROTJ disk was very entertaining. The comments that they made about the "Bad oysters" line had me cracking up, and I never even found the line funny before I heard the commentary. Plus, they actually acknoledged the Jolly Jack candy jar screw-up. I wonder why Warners didn't go all out on the other DVDs like they did with ROTJ. I mean, how hard would it have been to at least record commentarys for the others? Boyd Kirkland himself said he would have been happy to do a commentary for Subzero. Somtimes (almost all the time, come to think of it) I just don't get Warner Bros.
See ya!

I didn't buy JL, but out of the other 4, I have to agree with Slipknot, sadly. The Legend Begins just wasn't as good as it should have been in terms of quality.

I found the JUSTICE LEAGUE DVD the worst of the bunch - it lacked extras, and to be perfectly honest, it is just a bad "movie". (It's my first screening of anything JUSTICE-LEAGUE related, and animation aside, I wasn't impressed.)
RETURN OF THE JOKER was definately the best.
I liked THE LEGEND BEGINS, too - but I would have liked more extras and a commentary track for each episode!
Why are these "how to draw Batman" featurettes so cool, though? That isn't a worthy extra by any means. *SIGH*

PS - Anyone know of a MASK OF THE PHANTASM DVD (with extras, not just the movie and a trailer) is coming out? That would be the best.

There is no updated DVD of Mask of the Phantasm currently in the works. We're stuck with the bare bones DVD for now. The DVDs definatly had alot of potential. I asked Bruce Timm if he'd consider doing a commentary and guess what his answer was..."Yes". It baffles the mind why WB didn't pursue this...
