Avatar pictures question

Hey all, a lot of you have some really cool avatar pictures, I was just wondering where you got them? Is there some website somewhere where they have little pictures, or do you take regular pictures and crop them down to size. If you do that won't it look weird? Just wondering, thanks in advance for any help!

I think most peeps just find them from sites or some other weird place and then they just resize/crop them if needed. It depends on the picture if it looks weird or not....some do...and some don't.

Personally I use a drawing I did a couple of weeks ago.

The pics are just cropped. The best place to get pics of your favorite characters would be to check out the bio pages here at WF, or just at a site where you know it'll have them. Then you can crop them, or get someone to help you on that.

I have a collection of pics from the web. Like DG said, the bio section of the site has some nice pics, and you can also find some at the official Batman/Superman site. Then, i just resize them using something like PhotoShop.

Je suis contente de voir qu'il ya des persones qui parlent français dans " World's Finest". Comme toi, Optimal321, j'ai apris le français à l'école, mais avec une différence. Moi, je parle français tout les jours en dehors de la maison.:p

En tout cas félicitations à toi aussi optimal. Je sais que beaucoup d'anglophones considèrent que le français est une langue particulièrement contraignante et difficile d'accès... ce qui est sans doute vrai, mais je me rends pas bien compte.

Oui, je comprend ton redaction francais. Pour le plupart. Et vous etes correct, francais est un peu parculiarment, mais, je crois qu'il est parce que je suis anglophone.

I recognized the word "manges" as "you eat", because the romance languages( Spanish, French, Portugese, and Italian) are fairly similar in verb conjugation, and I know (thanks to Weird Al Yankovic's "Lasagna", which I love to eat Italian food to) that "manga" is Italian and means the same thing. In Spanish, it would be comes, pronounced ko-mays--unless you're speaking formally, in which case you'd say "[ustedes] comen" (ko-min).
The irony is that English is the hardest language to learn...though you wouldn't think that, would'jah, bub? :rolleyes:
