I am still looking to find the last three Looney Tunes to add to my collection. Hocus Pocus Pow Wow, Injun Trouble (1969) and The Door. I did discover an interesting link today.

It seems that Hocus Pocus Pow Wow and Injun Trouble aired on the Merrie Melodies Show in the 70s. Not that it helps me now, but I never thought that these toons had actually ever aired.
Not giving up hope though. Somebody's bound to have them on 16mm film or something. Or maybe they'll be on Acme Hour tonight!
I likes that poosycats fellow! He's nice and stoopid!

I think the reason these are so rare is the fact that they only aired on TV before the days of VCR, and were never released to video. Plus, there's another strike against them...."Merlin the
Magic Mouse"?! "Cool Cat"? ahhh, nobody cares about them, so we'll just take away the 2 of their episodes with un-PC stuff. I have a puzzle I bought at the WB store one time that has all kinds of characters, one of which is a character called "Lo, The Poor Indian" that must've come from one of these cartoons. I wonder if the Columbia House people realize what a service they would be doing if they included those......or WB's upcoming remastered DVD's? (Hey, I don't have either source, but....)

It makes me wonder what could possibly be so bad about the cartoons to keep them off Television for so long. It can't be because of Indians, unless something really awful and offensive happens to them. After all, Indians were shown on TV no more than a few years ago. It can't be because the two characters, Merlin and Cool Cat, aren't popular. It that were the reason, then Nickelodion would've censored the rest of their films.
So, has anyone seen them? If you have, can you tell us all why those two cartoons are so rare?

You know, I SWEAR that Hocus Pocus Pow-Wow aired on Nickelodeon around 1996-97.

Actually, to be honest, I recall seeing the cartoon on Nick too, but it's been a while, so it's more of a dejavou (sp?) sort of thing causing me to doubt whether or not I really HAVE seen it.

If it actually was on then, either rhapsodyrabbit would have it or hear about missing it. So it probably wasn't on.

To my knowledge, it never aired on Nick. I guess it could have slipped by but I checked this source as well:

Of course, I never would have thought I would ever see Isle of Pingo Pongo or any of the rest of the Censored 11 for that matter. Anything is possible. Actually, one that is just as hard to get is Disney's Commando Duck, I've been on Tommy Pickles' website, but have yet to be able to download the thing.
