Hey,
before I get goin', don't forget to check out the newspage for some exclusive JL and Batman DVD news! Here's the question:
If you could create one character for the show, good or bad, what would the character be like?

i created a character on the BB RPG, called the Ninja. He is the son of the original Ninja, and his sole mission is to get revenge on the one he feels responsible for his father's death, Bruce Wayne. After being defeated once by Terry/ Batman, the Ninja is now outfitted with a suit capable of knocking down a building:) and is now solely going after Bruce. yall should drop by and check out the thread...

It would be a cute, annoying kid who tags along with Terry and says stuff like, "Gee whiz!" and "Zowy-golly my shorties, Batman!"
OR
Some punk robot sidekick who "doesn't want to kill anymore."
OR
Some fat jock who picks on Terry all the time, who says stuff like, "Aww, you don't know anything about Batman, puny Terry. You'd probably faint from the excitement if he ever showed! Go back to yer test tubes..."
Or more seriously...
Some mysterious Baroness (You know, G.I. Joe) look-alike who climbs into Terry's room (I think he has a window) every night and the show cuts away from the scene after they start kissing. That'll boost ratings, I guarantee it!

I would bring back Hardac. How's that for excitement? Except it would be a robot of Terry. And then after Terry defeats it. THe original comes back still believing it is Bruce Wayne.

I'd love to see a Nightwing or, now NeoNightwing. It's the granddaughter of Barbara and Dick, who currently would defend Bludhaven. She comes for a 'family' visit to announce that her grandfather will die unless she gets the cure at a local lab. Big family reunion follows will the entire old Bat family as Dick finally comes home. The girl and her mentor would return to the haven at the end, but Terry invites them to come any time.

I'd create a hero. A true hero, not like the ones in the episode "heroes". Basically, a good version of Inque, without the weaknesses to water/electricity/freezing.
I'd like to see maybe a doppelganger character. Someone able to morph into exact copies of people but take on the opposite characteristic. For example, a doppleganger of Batman would be, basically, Batman but evil. Conversely, a doppelganger of Spellbinder would be a hero and/or a nice guy who'd try to create pleasant illusions, not ones that could get you killed or make you see things that are bad. The character could have some weird perosnality quirk that makes him (or her) decide to be good or bad depending on his/her mood or circumstances. Good or bad, though, it'd still be a handful for the real Batman to deal with.

I would make a reporter who was always trying to get a scoope of the Batman (vikki vayle maybe hehe) she would help out Batman at times but also provide him with up todate information of the activities of the city.

A yin to each yang, and vice versa, eh?
I really like this.
But instead of a personality quirk, what if Yinyang (just to make up a name) has little control over this? What I'm thinking is, in "The Martian Chronicles" the surviving Martian psychic-illusionists are easily dominated by the Earthlings around them, and have virtually no power to decide who it is they imitate. Similarly, Yinyang could be a kind of "lost soul" forced to take on the opposite characteristics of whatever powerful personality s/he is around. This would make it tricky for Batman to tackle him/her, as when he closes quarters Yinyang would naturally (and involutarily) turn into evil Batman.

Oh. "The Nose"? Like "The Lobe"?
Yeah, I guess that'd work.

I came up with a very cool villian named Calliope (many people may not know what a calliope is; it is a large musical pipe instrument that plays pre-programmed music from a spool, similar to player pianos. They sounded like pre-pubescent pipe organs and were very popular with circuses--if you've heard circus music, it's a calliope).
Calliope wears Joker-style makeup (white face with red clown mouth and black triangle eyebrows) and a tight black knee-length dress with black high-heeled boots, complemented by a black, broad-brimmed wizard's hat or a black-hooded cloak, depending on her mood. She flies around on a mechanical apparatus like Spellbinder's little wasp thing, except hers is fashioned like a stylized broom. The broom also functions as a weapon, and is packed with gizmos, kind of like Penguin's umbrellas. On her left hand she wears a bracer that just looks like some random metal dowels, but which can pop out four wicked claws along the backs of her fingers (kind of like, oh, Lady Deathstrike from X-Men for example). She has a black cat spliced with human DNA, kind of like Clarion the witch boy's cat-morph in "The Demon Within".
I built Calliope to be the Beyond Batman's arch enemy, since that slot has remained unfilled since Blight's much-debated death. She's the Beyond Joker in essence. She's less insane than the Joker, capable of rational, logical and very dangerous thought, but much more chaotic, performing crimes with no rhyme or reason merely for the thrill, if that. Sort of combo of Riddler and Joker, actually. And she's a nasty fighter when she has to be, though she tries to avoid it. My only problems are the facts that I don't have an origin story for her, nor do I have a good personality profile. I do, however, have drawings, which is a nice start.
So what do y'all think about this character idea?

She was the muse of epic poetry as well. Maybe Terry goes up against one of Maxie Zeus's daughters or grandaughters, who is just as crackers as he is/was. Lovely tie-in to Bruce's past, with his protegee tackling a decendent of one of his rogues....

My character is an AWOL soldier by the named Ray Gunn. He is the next Batman. The story takes place at least 125 years after Batman Beyond. Lately I've been thinking I would rather it be a video game than a show.
