Hey all,

If you could team Batman and/or Superman up with ANY comic charatcer, who would it be & why?

1. Superman and Marvel's original Captian Marvel. They both have come to take on the "greater-than-human protector" role for their companies with fantastic powers and inability to be wrong. Of course this omnipotence aspect has been downplayed in the post-crisis Superman and enhanced in Captain Marvel as he has managed to remain dead.

2. Batman and Spirit. The Spirit is the only man who can take more of a beating than Batman and still kick bad-guy tail.

How about Superman and Miracle Man? Written by Alan Moore, of course. Ohhhh, ya, I'd buy that one.

Ok Guys you're hearing it here first. Paul Dini is writing a new direct to video project as we speak called

"Batman's greatest team ups".

it will include...

Batman and Superman vs Mxyplckt and Batmite
Batman and Zatanna vs Klarrion
Batman Gree arrorw and
one yet undisclosed team up.

One fanfic I always wanted to write, but never got to it before I withdrew from the fanfic board was to have a teamup story between Batman and Kyle Rayner, Green Lantern. I wanted to write a story where an event would happen, effecting both of them, and it forced Batman and GL to work together.
It has very hilarious possibilities with Kyle constantly questioning Batman's darkness with Batman constantly telling GL to "Shut up."
A very "teacher and student" kind of story.

When last I heard he was just doing the scripts.
He's also doing the Zatanna series for DC, His Jingle Belle Project and other scripts for Warner brothers including a live action TV series about a weird west cowboy we all know and love to hate.

Okay, here's a FANTASTIC idea for a team up! How about Spiderman and Superman teaming up against Lex Luthor and Doctor Octopus to save the lives of Lois Lane and Mary Jane Park... Oh, hang on... didn't they do that already?

I wish that they'd do a Supes Bat family team up. I'd love to see a little tension between Green Lantern and Nightwing over a perticular Bat female. Heehee. I love Nightwing. What about Catwoman and Superman? That could be interesting...

Frankly, I'd rather junk the hero-hero scrapfight then team-up and just see if Superman or Batman can drop a Marvel villain. Magneto tops my list for Batman. I'd love to see Brucie take him on, since most of his gadgets are bound to have iron in them. And Superman has, to my knowledge, never faced Doctor Doom. Good reason, too. Doom would wipe the floor with him.

In The "All Access" team up Batman took out the X-men all on his own then next Issue the JLA and the X_MEN fought to a stand still

Now I'm not sure what kind of high-octane crack the writer was smoking but come on the X-men are not even speed pumps for the JLA.

The fight gose like this.

"Look those goys are fighting Batman", superman says.

The Flash takes them all down except Colossus, Rogue and Wolverine. (The Flash can move faster than thought so know save from the Prof or Jean)

Superman Punches Colossus (who I really love as a character) into orbit. Martian Man hunter fries Logan's mind and Wonder Woman abuses rogue like a red haired step child (Being a creature of magic Rogues absorbtion powewr dose not work well against WW)

I would just want to see a Batman/Nightwing teamup. I love the father/son aspect of their relationship and the differences in their personalities. And given that Grayson was the original Robin, there could be no better person for Bruce to team up with.

Another teamup that I'd love to see is Batman and Bane. Vengeance of Bane II did a great job of portraying Bane as more than a villain. It'd be great to see him and Bats form an alliance to go after the creators/dealers of venom. Given what's happened between them and their experiences with venom, some great stories could be done with the two.

Rogue alone in the X-Men stands a chance. She dropped Thor in her debut, so don't discount her too much. And why would Superman need to punch a dead man?

How about Batman and The Joker (yes, The Joker) teaming up to thwart The Shaper of Worlds' plan to manipulate The Hulk... oh... damn... they beat me to that one as well...

How about Spider-man? Instead of having a huge debate about who is better, why not just have them team-up?

My top choices for Batman would be Daredevil, and the character that helped inspire Batman the Shadow. A Catwoman/ Elektra team up would be cool too. As for Superman, either Shazam, or someone like Silver Surfer or the Fantastic Four.

I'd like to see Batman meet RoboCop, Street Fighter, Iron Man, Wolverine, or the Fantastic Four. Superman should meet Thor, Sailor Moon, or Spawn. The JLA should meet the Avengers (I know there's gonna be a JLA/Avengers crossover).
