Okay!! This mornings episode of Lois and Clark was really ausome...Lex Luthor purchases (actually steals) a peice of Kryptonite, and he also proposes to Lois. Clark is concerned, Daily Planet is about to go out of buisness...Luthor buys Planet so that it won't. (Or so he says) Then an explosion destroys the Planet building which was supposedly caused by an employee. (But it was actually Luthor's plot!) Lois later decides that she'll marry Lex because she knows that she has no hope with Superman...then Superman goes to the north pole and throws a temper-tantrum!! Certainly an ausome episode...I give it five stars...the next episode is the continuation of this one...I remember seeing the second part to this episode years and years ago when it first aired on ABC...but I didn't remember this one...as far as I know, this was the first time I saw this episode. Anyway...this is a talkback thread...so let her rip!

Hey Justiceleaguelegion,
I seen this episode I been wanting to watch Lois and Clark for a couple days but cant seem to remember to get up at 8am to catch it on TNT. But today I remember and watched yesterdays ep
( this being the 10th of may) It was very good! First episode I sen in awhile but I really thought Dean Kain (sp?) pulled off a really beleivable Superman and Clark Kent. Lex luthor when I first saw him was as I pictured him having hair instead of Bald like the the old cartoons and stuff.but I really liked the Ending where he went to the North pole is that where his fortress of solitude is? and screamed? it seemed like Lois heard him scream when he was at the north pole.
overall ep I give it 5 stars

Hi everyone!
I think Thursday's episode, "Barbarians at the Planet", was fantastic! I thought that Luthor's latest scheme, to convince bankers and advertisers not to invest in the Daily Planet so he could buy the paper, was sneaky, yet well-handled. He then arranges an explosion in the building, causing the paper to cease and everyone to lose their jobs. He takes advantage of Jack's shady past and plants the explosion on him. Perry gets drunk at his retirement party, and Clark tells Lois he doesn't trust Lex. This is some great stroy-telling! I feel sorry for Clark to see his partner and love interest float toward his enemy. I also feel sorry for Lois, for she doesn't realize her mind and heart are being played with. The end, in which Superman sees Lois accept Lex's marraige proposal and scream up in the North Pole, is just heart-wrenching.
I give this episode 5 stars!
Have a heart-warming day!

I loved this 2 parter but, it didn't have it all for me. There are some things I think could have been played out differently but, that's cuz it's almost been 10 years since the debut of the series. At the time of it's original airing these 2 eps. were a definate 5 star.
That Cox "personal assiastant" always got on my nerve but she's beside the point. Lex scheme really was a good. I have always wondered what does Lex really see in Lois? We all have preety much heard Clark's a bunch of times. I've just always wondered what made Lois so special to him. Of course he loves her (he proves it toward the end of the series)
Superman screaming at the north pole was REALLY good! I also thought Lois seemed to hear him. When Clark and Lois are hooked up later on, they seem to do that sensing each other thing a lot.
Where was Cat? Did I miss something or was she not in this arc at all? Having Jack was nice. Why did they get rid of him later on?
Everyones reaction to the burned up Daily Planet was nice. I was so shocked when i first saw this episode in '94 (?) and saw the Daily Planet gone. I was so into what are they going to do now??
Overall very good episode. Not my favourite but, nonetheless, very good.

I've only begun to really watch this series just recently, and each episode never fails to dissapoint me. This episode was no exception. I felt bad for Clark when he confessed his love for Lois, but of corse, she still has feelings for Superman! If only she weren't so clueless. I'm glad to see that they didn't forget Jack existed, but I guess they do later on.

(forgive me, a lot of the episodes I haven't seen in quite a long while, even though I was able to catch them at 8AM from getting up for school this semester) OH yeah that two parter! I remember! Wasn't that one of the season's season finales? That was awesome.
Until like the last season or so, I don't think there's an episode out there I'd give anything less than 4 or 5 out of 5 stars to.

This wasn't the season finale, but the episode right after it was.
