I'm glad you're getting something you like, Brandon. Personally, I could take or leave most Nickelodeon cartoons...but "Rocko's Modern Life" was one of the best cartoons I've ever seen. Wonder what became of it?

They are considered "lost" because they never aired in the U.S. because NICK deemed them too violent for children under 10.

Now that's plain dumb on their part. Why produce them without airing them?

Because it's a business , not an art outlet. If one episode of a cartoon series outrages parents, the sponsors of that program will get themselves involved in that show's future. You can imagine what that means! Probably the only reason Ren & Stimpy ever made it on the air is because the plot for Big House Blues, the first one produced, is so innocent on the surface. Ren & Stimpy would've been gone for sure mid-season if it hadn't been such a monster hit with high school and college kids. In other words, big networks just don't issue licenses to kill to their directors. I'm sure a fair percentage of Courage the Cowardly Dog never makes it to your TV. I'm surprised CN shows such a psychotic cartoon in prime time. Support John Dilworth all you can, he walks the thinnest line working for those guys!
