I'm probably going to sound like a weirdo here, but does anybody besides me think that Batgirl is one hot little number?

I have to agree with you on that one. Very hot number.

I really don't find myself attracted to cartoon characters, but I thought she looked best on the WB episodes.

Oh, well Batman (The user, not the real Batman, I mean fictional, or whatever) thought he meant the animated Batgirl. And so did I. I thought that what he said was a little vague.

OOPS! Yeah, I guess I should have elaborated. I meant the Batgirl played by Yvonne Craig. Batgirl on BTAS however..she's hot from an art standpoint..but anything other than that would be weird......

She's cuter! And she'd make the best Batgirl!

And who exactly is she?
Wait. Is she that French singer that you seem obsessed with like to bring up at any given opportunity?

Wow...
I haven't been here for 4 months and you talk to me like i was here yesterday.
I was making a joke. Because Yvonne Graig fans are from a different generation. Alizee is from my generation. I thought it would be nice to compaire them.
Four months and this is how people greet me. That's just great.
Anyhoo, i actually scould't come here anymore anyway. All pictures of Batgirl have been removed from my walls.
I have made a comittement to the Jedi order. I'm a Jedi Padawan named Alezina-Lo Ezila. Apprentice to Micha Fafie. Daughter of Gladiator and a politician. Older sister to Bajim Ezila.....
Star Wars RPG is great, isn't it? :D They have better smilies at wizards.com

Dude, I am not from Yvonne Craig's generation. She is 65 and I am 19. WHen I was little and watching reruns of Bats I had a huge little pre-teen crush on her. :) You don't have to be in their generation to appreciate them.
And, the person you are comparing Yvonne too wasn't even a Batgirl. Now I could have seen it if you were comparing her to Alicia Silverstone or something, but you have this random person who has no connection to Batgirl, doesnt make sense to me.

If that's the impression you got then I'm sorry. It's just that the last thread that I remember you posting in (and I only routinely visit a few boards at TZ so there are a bunch of members that I don't bump in to all that often) had a bunch of off-topic replies about this singer.
What I posted was just my way of joking around. And I probably wouldn’t have done so if you had given a compelling reason why she should be Batgirl. But still, it was never my intention to make you feel like you're not welcome around any part of TZ, and since that's the way I seem to have come off, I apologize for that.

Just for the record, I don't think there's any reason to get defensive about thinking a cartoon character is hot. Granted, if you have extensive fantasies about them it probably means you have some issues. But who here hasn't done a double take at Jessica Rabbit?
Anyway, I'm not all that gaga over either the live or the cartoon Batgirls, though both are cute (actually the TNBA Babs, like every Timm girl, has a waist so small it would be hideous in real life, but I guess cartoon attractiveness follows different rules).

I think getting hot on a cartoon is no problem. It's when you start to have serious emotional feelings towards them when it starts to be strange. I would have shot myself two if i heard myself saying that two years ago.
Now i'm deeply in love with the French Popstar Alizee. And it's a bit of an emotional conflict. Wich is worse then my crush on Batgirl, i guess. Because now i can't fantasize about Alizee's life because Alizee has her own life, where as Barbara's life was pretty much 75 percent in my head. And in that sense, it was more relaxed. And now with Alizee, i'm my feelings are even more serious, and i'm constantly reminded of the impossibility of my feelings.
With Batgirl, Cartoony as she is, it was easier to just really go into the character and live inside Barbara. It was just funny to think what would Barbara do or say in situations in my life. But With Alizee it's pointless to think like that, because she's real, and lives in her own situations.
So, to the ouside world, being seriously in love with a celebrity is more or less accepted as normal, but much harder emotionally for the person in that situation then having that with a cartoon.
At least with Barbara i had a happy life besides my Fantasy girlfriend, but now i'm manic depressive. every 3 weeks i fall in a depression of one, sometimes two days. It mostly happens when i'm at home alone on a saturday morning and have nobody to talk to, and all i can do is look at Alizee clips and pictures. Then i fall and go slightly crazy for a couple of hours, and then i get depressed. And then the next day it all goes alot better.
Aside from that i can't stop myself from talking about her constantly. So, i'm sorry for doing so, but please don't be to mad at me when i do it again. Just let me know when i'm doing it again. I try very hard not to.
