WHats with Toonzone servers

Everyday it seems like WF is down at certain times. Is it just me, or does this happen to others? Are the toonzone servers crap or something? Because like right now, I am unable to access WF. :(

Brian assures us the servers' working fine. I think you might find his response to the problem on the Warners Brothers Club board.

The real problem is people with DSL can't get on. That sucks, as I use DSL at work, and like to get on the boards there, so I can imagine our friends with DSL and their frustration.

for a while, i ahd no problem getting to the WF News page, but i couldn't get on the message boards. Finally, this morning i was able to get on... hence the numerous posts today alone...

I missed out on the boards for 3 days, so I know how you feel. And I had lots of stuff to post, even something I wanted to get up on the Warner Bros Club board, but I forgot what it was when I got back on. Oh, well. You can never really catch up, just do your best to go on where you left off.

Yeah. I think alot of people were devoid of the boards, and still are. It's a darn shame when it happens, but the best thing to do is alert the webmaster and just wait.

I have DSL and couldn't get onto the boards since early yesterday morning. I just got on an hour ago. The funny thing is, I could access both the WF and Toonzone websites. Oh well, I'm back on track and that's all that matters......

I haven't been on since Thursday. or Wednesday..one or the other. Anyway, I could access most WF stuff, but not the boards. But now, I can get on the boards, but no WF stuff..it's all wacky..it'll be resolved soon..I hope..

and where is Mr. Cruz's post? I can't find it!

Mayube this whole problem going down is a bit more random than we think. I honestly can't figure it out. I just really want this to get fixed. Hits at the newspage have dropped by 40%, which is quite abit.

This is the first time I've been able to access the boards in 2 or 3 days. I could reach the Toon Zone and WF homepages but nothing beyond that.

Hi everyone!

Like many of you, I too am on the boards for the first time in about 3 days. I don't have DSL, but I still couldn't access Toonzone, the boards, or the newspage. This happened to me for 2 days last week, too, and the week before that. It seems to go out for me for 2 to 4 days every week. I hate when it happens, but I can do nothing but wait. I just hope I have a few days before it goes out again!

The server itself is running just fine. The problem is with letting every computer on the internet know that toonzone.net = our server, and that wf.toonzone.net = our server, and that forums.toonzone.net = our server, etc., etc. The thing does that is called DNS, and it hasn't been working properly since it was updated. It also doesn't help that it takes a few days for the update to get to every ISP in the world. On top of that, the people who run our server are jerks and haven't been responding to our e-mails. So all I can say is to please hang in there, and sometime soon everyone will be able to access everything normally again. If not, we'll have to find more competent people to run the server, cause stuff like this should just never happen.

I agree. It sound slike those guys are real jerks. Hopefully they'll get their thumbs out of their behinds and get constructive!

The last time she posted was on the 6th of July I believe. It was to one of my posts (the one about cereal.) She also put her 2¢ in on the Atlantis movie. I wonder if the boards have been working for her? (She is actually the regular I was thinking of when I made that post! I see it's not just me that misses her!)
