Hey, I was watching the new Sealab 2021 Stimutacs episode last sunday and decided to record two sound clips from the episode. Well...I put one of them up in mp3 format (originally in wav). So if anyone is interested in hearing it, go the address below. It's very humourous like usual
http://www.geocities.com/arkham316.geo/sealab-stimutacs.mp3
It is the part starting from when Dr. Quinn comments "this isn't natural, you shouldn't be that strong" all the way to when the captain is trying to bend Stormy using his mind after Stormy retorted that he was actually trying to bend the will of the spoon, rather than the spoon itself.
Hope people enjoy.
P.S. I haven't put the other clip up, but if anyone wants it, let me know and I can send it to you ASAP.
Your link is down :(
Oh, and by the way, welcome, Arkham!!! I hope you don't find this warm welcome "distarbing!"

It's not down. It's just Geocities. :p
BTW, it sounds like you put a recorder or a mic up to the TV.

If you want... I wouldn't mind hosting it myself. Geocities, like the kelp in the stimutacs... is crap. I have a few wavs up on my site(found in sig) from Stimutacs.

Yeah...surprisingly I got a email from them saying they were going to be done. Didn't expect that, but I can always send it to anyone through AIM or something if needed.
Yeah...I did put a mic to it, about the only way I could do it because I don't have any other applications or hookups that could make a better recording....and I would have tried to make it sound better by getting the mic closer, but unfortunately my computer is at a distance and the mic can only go so far...I had to turn the volume all the way on the mic and the TV up loud to actually get it to pick up decently...but you can still hear everything fine and pretty much make it all out.

Oh yeah, by the way. Ravenger, that's cool. If you want the clips, just get ahold of me and I can get them to you...I also have a few other Sealab clips I recorded off of previous episodes I recorded. Perhaps people might enjoy those as well.

Sure thats cool. Mine are compressed stereo wavs. So I can get like 30 seconds of audio for like 300k or so. Its good for the guys still stuck on dial up(which I was until resently). Let me know what else you have and I'll upload yours ASAP. Email is on the email tab of this post. =)

If anyone needs better clips, I have a vid capture board plus tons of editing software for recording direct (instead of the mic/tv route). I have most ASC shows digitally recorded in DVD format.

Yea I was thinking of resampling it myself but in no offence to the original sequencer of the file I would have posted both versions. =)
But I have a neato set up to record stuff myself but the only problem is recording certain things are still too big even when I try to encode using DivX... I just don't have the mad skills yet to go into video clips but hopefully I will soon. If I had a freeware recorder for Real Vid files I'd go that route but I don't... so I can't. Thats why I've stuck to pumping out the best quality wav/mp3 files that you can find. =)

I currently have 140+ clips from various adult swim shows.

If you decide to post those elsewhere, give me some credit.
