Perhaps a Real Crossover For Dexter/PPG?

I know I've done a topic sorta like this before where we make whacky crossovers for CC, but is there any talk of PPG and Dexter actually crossing over? Dexter has a new season, whilst the PPG are at the height of thier popularity-now would be an excellent time to make a crossover eppy. The universes are EXTREMELY similar, and mini-references to one show has already been done in the other.

Dunno why, but the thought occured to me,and I wondered if any talk in this subject had been touched upon at C-Network...

...and in addition, what do you think would be a likely crossover topic? I, personally, think Mandark would try a particuraly serious attempt to conquer/destroy something....the something being Townsville. Dexter would try to stop Mandark so he could take in glory,Dee Dee tagging along, and naturally the PPG have to save the town...and our heros could then meet up. I'm also thinking Dee-Dee meeting and doing 'girl stuff' with the PPG (particuraly Bubbles) would be a humorous subplot.

'The Powerpuffs Girls meet Dexter' is an idea with promise. But I'd prefer a chance throwing-together, rather than a heros-unite-to defeat the villain plot; that's been done before. (Anyway, why would Mandark target Townsville- one of the best-guarded cities around- rather than his own burg?)

Of course, fanfic PPG/ Dexter crossovers have already been done. This one is my favorite example:

No, Dexter and PPG don't have universe 'similarities'; they ARE in the same universe. There have been many refs to this(The most obvious one being Qwakor the Fowl popping up in a long montage of villains in 'Daylight Savings'. I find the Dexter cameo in 'Criss Cross Crisis' the funniest; he appears for a split second in the 'nononononono' scene[As do Craig McCracken and Don Shank. No joke!], but it's actually Ms. Bellum in his body!), likely because Craig and Genndy have worked so closely with each other on both shows. The new Dexter episodes don't have the style of PPG, though; unfortunately, it looks like Time Squad.

Yes, I'd like a crossover, but only if it's funny and not done just for publicity. While Mandark attacking Townsville would be stupid, it wouldn't be dumb to have a villain attack the lab; I've always suspected Dexter lives in Pokey Oaks, anyway.

I've long theorized that Townsville is located somewhere on the Californian coast. Supporting evidence includes:

a) they have a beach

b) their weather is generally sunny

c) they've got a substancial Asian population

That one would be hard to call. Monkey has superpowers, but Mojo has tons of high-tech weapons, and he fights dirty.

I figure Townsville is in California, but in the fourth season, there is evidence that Townsville may be on a nonexistant island south of Japan. (Either that, or the Mayor is just up to his usual idiocy, which is MOST LIKELY the case.) Such would indicate that Townsville is actually a U.S. military base in the tropical pacific ocean somewhere. (And would also explain the Asian population.) Such a base would probably be strategically set for picking off the occasional strays from Monster Island.

Though I must say, there has been no official word on this.

As for a Dexter crossover, expect to see Major Glory star in an upcoming episode. Oh yeah, and Val Halen will be there too..... (There's also a spoof of a one-shot ReBoot character in this ep. This character was only seen in one episode, so you'll have to know it pretty well to get the joke.)

I had this idea running in my head for about two years. Okay, basically we are shown the Townvillie's World Science Fair. At the Fair, the Professor is showing off his newest research. Unknown to the Professor, a young genius named Dexter is at the fair as well with his newest innovations too. Dexter and Professor become rival to see who can win the prized gold metal award with the Powerpuff Girls, Dee, Mom & Dad, and Monkey in the middle of all this. To top of this off, what does Mojo Jojo have to do with all of this.

A year ago I finished a Powerpuff Girl / Dexter's Laboratory corssover comic. The Professor and the Powerpuff Girls go to Townsville first science fair competition, and there they meet Dexter who has made a machine that causes heavy mutations. Insanity follows. Dispite the art being outdated in my standards, it's a decent story that sucessfuly mixes the two together.

Townsville and the Powerpuffs is like the Simpsons to Springfeild - there is no real place. Those names are either cartoonishly generic, or there's litteraly dozens of cities all over named that. I think there's three Townsville in California, and one even in Austrailia. In the world of cartoons, it's a made up place.

Anyway, it was either Criag or Genndy (I forget who it was) commented on how he really wasn't for a Powerpuff/Dexter crossover. He said something along the lines that too many fans think all cartoons live in this joint cartoon world, and that most Dexter/PPG stuff was made by the people making the backgrounds. Still, it would be an interesting eppisode, that's for sure!

well dexter should start working for the powerpuff girls, then there would only be one of them not so good shows. then there would be more room to put other stuff. they are starting to burn them shows out. i mean they dont even show samurai jack half that much. within three hours of shows on cartoon network you are almost guarenteed to see dexter, powerpuff girls and ed edd and eddy they need to show the other shows some more times. :(

now im gonna have to put up with powerpuff girls on kidswb. man that stinks, its bad enough that pokemon is on there too. pokemon is played out too. :(

How about this Dexter and the PPG are related! Dexter's dad is cousin to the Professer.This explains how Dexter is so smart.Then Mandark and MoJoJoJo team up and attack Townsville.Then its up to Dex and the PPG to stop them.

I'm writing A crossover story with Dexter & The Powerpuff Girls. It's similar to the idea posted above except for the possibility that Dad, and Professor Utonium are cousins. (I don't know.
