Tom & Jerry was my choice. I've always liked them since I was little.

Tom & Jerry got my vote. They are the ones I find most tolerable to watch. Some (such as the wolf) are too annoying to watch. Some (such as Screwy Squirrel and George and Junior) get some of their cartoons aired too much.

Droopy. I always found Droopy cartoons absolutely hilarious, and remember laughing at those harder than any of those others.

George and Junior get aired too much? First, I don't think that it's fair to count that against them, secondly, if you do want to count it against them, it seems like the same 20 T&Js get repeated forever.

First, Droopy. I think he is a lame character. I couldn't sit through more than two of his cartoons at once.

Next, there are 3 George & Junior cartoons that air constantly.

Last, out of all 162 Tom & Jerry cartoons, I doubt less than 100 can be seen if you watch most of the shows.

To simply put it, I completely disagree with you.

Hey, we have differences of opinion, no big deal. No need to be uppity about it.

I don't know about "most of the shows", maybe if you saw like 99% of them it'd be true. Whatever way you wanna say it, there is not anywhere near enough diversity.

P.S. Sometimes I use mild exaggeration. It's a little thing I like to call "sarcasm"

...if you know anything about MGM, you also know their best character was and is THE LADY IN RED!

Or just Red, as Preston Blair, the Avery cohort who drew her, called her...

The Wolf wouldn't have the reputation he did if not for her...

She got waaaaay more response from theatergoers than T&J or Droopy ever did...:)

Haven't we all forgotten FLIP THE FROG?
He's MGM's very first cartoon star ever and
my favorite. So I chose "other, please post who and why."

BTW, What do you think of my new animated GIF avatar of Max Fleisccher's Bimbo?

My answers have to be totally ridiculous...just like those edits in the cartoons.

It's a tie between Big Heel-Watha (Buck Of The Month) and Lonesome Lenny...two spectacular characted in Screwball Squirrel spinoffs. (And this was before Screwball Squirrel was officially named)!

I'd have to go with Avery's Spike/Michael Lah's Butch, which are basically the same character, except that Hanna-Barbera stole the Spike name for their own bulldog by the time Lah's Cinemascope cartoons came out.

"The Lady in Red" is a rare 1935 WB cartoon, not an MGM character. The character was actually called "Red". And I could probably say this next sentence in 1000 replies, but I will stop after this one. I HATE Red and the Wolf!
