First of all, I haven't been able to log in to Toonzone all week from my usual computer. I couldn't even get into Jon's web site. I am using a friend's computer now, but I won't be able to do that very often. Have there been problems? Is there anything I can do to be able to log in from any computer?
Second. today is my birthday, and I am hoping to get the "Cartoon Crack-Ups" DVD, "1001 Rabbit Tales" and "Marvin the Martian: Space Tunes" (clamshell case) videos. I'd also like some Looney Tunes T-shirts. Now that the WB stores have closed, does anyone know a reputable source for Looney Tunes merchandise?
Finally, I want to thank everyone for making me feel so welcome here. I've really enjoyed being part of the group. I've learned a lot from you!
Hope I can continue to log in OK. I've really missed you!

It could be server load -- this site has a 'popular' period, usually late at night when some of Cartoon Network's classic-WB-toon progs are airing...
It could be your internet provider is slow in updating the actual numeric Internet Protocol address of the toonzone server; it has changed at
least once since this new board software was launched, as I recall...Jon, Harley, Brian et al. are welcome to clarify that.
Annnnnnd, there have been minor outages with the server, altho not lately...again, they can fill us in.

I have 2 ISP's - sometimes, I can get here from one, but not the other (and sometines it is 'a' that works, and sometimes 'b'). I LOVE this technology...

Well... I can't give you all the technical information, but I talked with Brian last night and apparently that is exactly what we are experiencing (a change in numeric IP address). This isn't a problem with the server itself. Brian said that the server has been running perfectly ever since the recent upgrade.
