Hey Gang,

I just received this email from guru Kristopher Carter:

Hi! I'm Kristopher Carter, one of the composers on "Batman Beyond", and
the composer of the score to the "Return of the Joker." I want to
congratulate you on all your hard work on the "World's Finest"
Boards--they are a great place for WB fans to gather and discuss the
shows!

I realize your boards comprise a truly global community, but in case
there are any fans of Batman Beyond in the Los Angeles/So. Calif. area,
I wanted to let them know that the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra is going to
perform a world premiere of a suite from "The Return of the Joker" at
the Bowl on Aug. 10th and 11th. Because a majority of the orchestra are
LA studio musicians, the piece will be performed by many of the same
musicians that performed on the original score. Also, it's still not
100% at this moment, but there is a high likelyhood that Gabriel Moses,
the guitarist that performed on the Batman Beyond series Main Title, as
well as ROTJ, will be on hand to play as well!

Anyway, I couldn't be more excited about this opportunity, and I wanted
to make sure that the word gets out. Thanks!

Best regards,
Kristopher Carter

So, spread the word! This would be an oppurtunity NO ONE can miss!

Wow - I'd go if it wasn't for the rather watery atlantic thing sitting in my way!

Any hope of that being released? Anyone got a tape recorder they could sneak in!? :D

I'd prefer the former - that I would buy!

Woah! Now that sounds far too cool... but damn the distance! Damn it to hell! We've gotta get this guy to tour. :)

Yeah, wish i didn't live so far away either. But it would be cool to have an ROTJ tour.

Actually, if any Californian Bat-fan plans on being at the concert, I think I can say we'd all be eternally grateful if someone brought a tape recorder. Assuming Mr. Carter doesn't mind...

OH, I never knew that. You just pushed me into the decision to break down and buy the ROTJ sound track. Thanks for the info! I heard it was good, but never knew who did the music on it.
