I've got to go with Superman. There's just something about wearing his red undies on the outside that if I was a super villiain wouldn't let me take him seriously.

Captain Ultra. It looks like a rainbow barfed on his costume.

Poor Nighty! Everyone picks on him for that costume....course he did resemble Elvis in some ways, lol, definetly not his best fashion choice. I'd have to go with Captain Ultra...I mean...wow...what lameness.
Barb^-^
I wasn't sure which hero to pick, but after seeing that piece o' garbage costume...I'm gonna have to go with Captain Ultra.
Captain Planet's costume is also really gay looking. I'm not sure if he even counts as a superhero though.

How about the Creeper? He looks like the Joker in a Robin costume. Red and green do I have to say more?
As for Ultraman--- YUCK!

There was some Golden Age(?) superhero/vigilante who fought crime in old lady drag... Name escapes me, though.

Not quite lame, but I sort of pity the Sailor Scouts, having to do all their heroics in high heels...they and the Officer Jennys. It's a miracle the poor lasses don't trip and crack an ankle. Don't even get me started on Sailor Moon's meatballs....
And of course, the green question-marked skintight number the Riddler wore...and Frank Gorshin tried to make a go of in '66. Which remind me, did anyone catch Drew Carey last night, featuring Adam West as one half of a gay couple renting a room at Drew's? Probably a dig at those old Batman and Robin rumors...and if Burt Ward had appeared in a cameo, I'd have probably laughed myself into a change of underwear....

I think that was the whole point of thhe character. He was supposed to be ridiculous.

Yeah, Ambush Bug was in funny comics. He's meant as a joke. Putting down his costume is like saying that Irving Forbush had a terrible costume.

The lamest costume of all time goes to the original Red Tornado, a plump housewife in the 1940's who fought crime wearing a cooking pot for a helmet.

I'd have to say that PowerGirl deffinately has a lame costume, the one she's sporting now which is a varient of her original costume. and i also disliked the one she wore during the end of her JLE membership when she was pregnant.

I don't think that Power Girl's costumes look so bad, but I haven't seen all of them. Power Girl is considered to be one of the hottest DC characters, so she must be doin' something right.

The current Supergirl is a dog. You would think they would get a new artist. That's not a totally random message. It goes with Joe's comment about hottest females.
Red Tornado I think has just taken the lead in this poll.
Allen's Nickname.

I NEED to see a Red Tornado comic!

I hate to say it, but the 1940's Batman (in the movie serials) had a lame costume. The floppy ears, the design, and everything was just....lame. Of course it was hard to find anything about this movie that wasn't lame....

I have to go for Capain Ultra or the Red tornado, man that is some bad color combinations (and I am color blind)

Does Marvin from the Superfriend's count? It would be a toss-up between him and his dog.

I think the Flash Rogues have some lame, nasty costumes, like Captain Boomerang specifically. But they're not technically "heroes"....
I think that the lamest costume on s Super Hero has to go to Zatanna when she decided to wear that super heroish cape outfit. She was so cool with the regular fishnets, top hat, and jacket look, and it fit her whole magic thing. Her other costume just sucked.

Worst is Bible Man, played by one of the Eight is Enough kids. Let's just say Bible Man needs to cup to his outfit and leave it at that.
The new Batgirl needs to cut eye holes in her mask, and get the alterations finished so the stitches don't show. Cable ALWAYS looks like he rooted through the clothes hamper before fighting evil mutants. Gambit deserves mention for whatever that is. A raincoat, sure, but is that neon body armor, or pjs, or a leotard? And the having his hair stick out of the top is not cool. Hulk could use a costume, instead of the purple hot pants. Apparently, gamma radiation only works on most of the body....

Hey i just have to say if we're counting out Ambush bug cause he was suposed to be a joke then You can't really claim captian ultra. He was very much meant to be a joke of a hero. But my personal pick is Kitty Pryde. Back when she joined the x-men.... That girl had bad taste all over...
