Anybody else here see this movie? I thought it was quite creative and well done, and not just another kids movie. I am disappointed that the DVD was announced with no special features, though. And for thirty bucks??? I wanted to get it but doubt I will now.

Don't worry. the bare-bones edition is intended for kids. There wil be a Special Edition that will feature an extended version of the movie. It may be out by Christmas, but I predict spring 2002.

Cool, thanks. I will just settle for renting the bare bones version. I hear it's an excellent movie, compared on Ebert and Roper to Willy Wonka's Chocolate Factory.
