I know there's already at least two JP3 threads, but I said I'd do my own, and I'm still gonna. Well, I say it last night in a sold out theatre and I don't think I've seen a more excited crowd. The crowd went up when the threatre darkened, and they got pumped when the trailers began. There was a loud round of applause when the Spider-Man trailer played like you wouldn't believe. One person even screamed "It's about time!". Well, now the movies begins:

I liked it. I thought it was a great thrill ride. The movie opens with two of the characters parasailing over the SIDE B island, and crashing onto it, and the movie takes off from there. I'm gonna avoid spoilers best I can, but I thought this movie was a rip-snortin' fun ride. The special effects are top nothc, and the action is quick and amazing. There were a few things I found annoying or a bit dumb:

-The phone inside the spinosaur (you see it, you'll understand)

-Billy taking the eggs - COME ON! That's asking for it.

-William H. Macy's character on the crane. I thought that was the dumbest movie made in the movie.

-This realy isn't a spoiler, but Tea Lioni's character not being killed. If anyone asked for it, it was her.

I loved the Cameo by Laura Dern in this movie. With her and Sam Neill I thought it made thge mmovie more pleasent. If it was just a whole new cast, I don't think it would've been as good. The inteligence of the Raptors, I thought was ghreat. That 'trap' they set in the movie was brilliant, and it almost worked. The spinosaurus was a cool dino and the fight between he and T-Rex over food was an awesome sequence.

Speilberg did a great job hand picking Johnston to direct. The angels he had made the movie so atmosperic and beautiful. There were some shots that was right in your face (most of the raptor stuff) and then large scope, like the scene where the cast is running with the dinos, which was a great sequence.

Overall, a great little movie with some imperfections. I give it a 3.5/5.
