Check out a copy of "Grey's Anatomy", and some other medical text books from your local library. Those ought to be a big help.
..........AAAAAND as always, practice, practice, practice

I moved this to the drawing board, Oracle was right about this being more for this board, plus you'll get more responses most likely.

Yep. muscles are damn hard to get right - and they take a lot of practice...

Any anatomy books are good, but some only deal with the actual structure of bare muscle. Get your hands on ANYTHING that has muscular people in - from health and fitness magazines, wrestling magazines, comics, movie books, whatever, and then COPY COPY COPY over and over again before moving on to trying to draw the muscle groups without reference. Once your drawing's done, go back to your reference material (keep a scrap-book with all the best pictures in) and see what you might have done wrong, and make the appropriate corrections. Keep doing this long enough, and you'll find one day you don't need to make any changes, 'cos you suddenly know how to draw muscles...

It's a long, slow process, but if you're commited, you'll get there in the end... Good luck - and remember to show us the results here at the Drawing Board!!!

As a professional artist and designer I suggest to you not
to learn how to draw muscles from comics. If you want to
draw comic muscles then use a comic. Drawing from comics
will not give you an understanding of how muscles work.
Most professional comic artist know how
muscles work and that's why they draw great stylistic muscles.

I don't know your age but draiwng
from the nude (no porn) is how we learned in college.
Also using an anatomy work book or an anatomy book
such as Gray's anatomy.

I hope this helps.

...by looking at your arms....;)
But seriously you should try and see some of those
anatomy books. I´ve learned by copying from cartoons
or comicbooks as a kid, and then just repeated them... :p
