I don't know if Bruce could be happy with anyone. Talia would have left Ra's' side for him and he could've continued to be Batman. Perhaps his "relationships" were just to fulfill some basic "needs" that he has as a human being. Even in retirment (BB and DKR) he never really settled down. Back to Selina, thievery is in her blood. I don't think that she could ever really stop, not even for Bruce/Batman.
