Hi everyone!

Earlier, I recieved an email from a friend of mine entitles "complete success thanks to:". It was address to "Undisclosed recipients", and it had an octet-stream attachment in it. The problem was he didn't send it to anyone voluntarily. A virus sent it out. It sent the email out to everyone in his address book, and he found out that from there, it was sent out to everyone in their address books. There was no damge to my system (thankfully, WebTV can't open octet-stream attachments), and he didn't get much damage in his.

I'm posting this because some of you are in my address book, and others are in the address books of those people. I don't know if any of you got anything from me or not, or if you did, if it was titled "complete success thanks to:" or something else. If you got anything from me and it has an octet-stream attachment in it, don't open the attachment! Throw it out instead, and warn all those in your address book!

Have a virus-free day!

nerdgirl :)

Thanx, nerdgirl! I do my best to try and avoid junk mail, hell I don't even open them. If the email title looks like junk,or I don't know the email address, I usually chuck it.
