Hello all, this is the first topic I have started at Toon Zone, and I figure with 75 members on at any given time at least one of you will be able to answer my little question...
Will Cartoon Network have another Bugs Bunny "June Bugs" marathon this year?
If so, has any information been given about whether the censored Bugs cartoons will air in any way, possibly in some sort of "Toon Heads Special?"
Thanks for the help, and if anyone could give me a link to where they got the information I would be most grateful.

As far as I know there will be another June Bugs Marathon this year.
I believe it's actually supposed to start on May 31st and continue through that first weekend in June. I also think that it's supposed to be shorter than last year's June Bugs marathon, but I'm not totally sure about that either.
Anyway, I hope this helps you some.

Actually, this years Jun Bugs will start on June 1, at 8AM, and only run for 38 hours... :(
Heaven forbid that CN would actually (*gasp*) pre-empt Cartoon Cartoon Fridays...

...or the Boomerang Saturday morning block, which is not that bad anyway. Also, they refuse to pre-empt Adult Swim, which is why it will end earlier. About the censored cartoons, do not expect them. They used false advertising last year and probably are again. I will be extremely surprised if every Bugs Bunny cartoon airs.

Well it seems Cartoon Network is trying to slowly phase out classic animation.

Actually, it seems that AOL-Time Warner is putting they're classic cartoons mainly on Boomerang, so that the network will be on local cable providers, instead of just satelite dishes.

Unless I get Boomerang, I will consider that a loss. :(
