It's too bad the pictures on the DVD aren't actually of the first season Simpsons. I think they were animated by Klasky-Csupo back then, and the style was very different from later episodes. I also wish they'd include more of the Tracy Ullman shorts. Still, I'll buy this set the day it comes out.

The 1st season episode were so different. Everyone acted out of character and Smithers was black! Still, I will be getting this DVD...

The first season was better than recent seasons, where everyone acted out of character and Smithers was white....

No argument there. Also, In the first season Homer sounded a whole lot like Walter Matthau.
