I'm just curious to find out who everyone would say is their all-time favorite WB cartoons director.
Mine's Chuck Jones.

Bob Clampett, but I like the others a lot too. :D

I voted for Chuck Jones. In general, his cartoons are interesting and/or funny. All directors had their good and bad cartoons, though.

That's a tough choice. I really don't have anything against ANY of the directors, but my all-time favorite is Chuck Jones. :)
Too bad, we can't vote twice, because my second-favorite would be Bob Clampett or Art Davis.

Chuck Jones easily gets my vote. I have long idolized the great Jones largely because of his massive contributions to my cartoon enjoyment. He created my favorite WB characters, the Road Runner and Wile E. Coyote and his one-shots ("Martian Through Georgia", "One Froggy Evening", "Fair and Worm-er") simply can't be beat. He also made some terrific Bugs Bunny cartoons ("Rabbit Punch", "To Hare Is Human", "A Feather in His Hare", "Baton Bunny") and gave the world cartoons as great as "The Dover Boys" (which I watched for the first time the other day and ROARED at), "Hopalong Casualty", "Feline Frame-Up", and "Duck Amuck". His passing earlier this year struck me as being particularly sad.
But, as with Thad, I'm really quite partial to ALL WB directors. They were special in their own unique ways and individual styles which gave Warners cartoons all the more variety. Art Davis is also a close second of mine largely because his stay was short but his batting average was very good ("Mouse Menace", "Two Gophers From Texas", "What Makes Daffy Duck", "Dough Ray Me-ow", and "The Stupor Salesman" are some of the greatest cartoons ever, IMHO).
Tex Avery all the way. ;) He even made Daffy Duck which happens to be my favorite cartoon character of all time.

I'm surprised nobody has voted for Friz.
