How many spiderman and X-men movies should there be? i say 4. i think they could cove enough ground in 4 movies.

It depends I guess. If they can produce high quality movies with a decent enough budget and cast, then I think they should make as many movies as they can.

The last thing I want for Spiderman is go through the whole Batman Forever and Batman & Robin Fiasco. The first two Batman movies were great, but everything after that was just plain bad. Batman Forever was Ok, but Batman & Robin screwed it up big time.

oh and i just saw a Sipderman commercial, MAN this movie is gonna blow x-men outta the water. i mean the GoBLIN VS sPIDEY FIGHT SCENES LOOK GREAT

I think Doc Ock would be alot better for Spiderman 2. Venom would be better for #3. We probably don't want to rush into him just yet..

I think they need to just make a new Howard the Duck movie and make it RIGHT.

No way! No Venom in a sequel unless you have a decent enough villain for Spidey to fight with the symbiote for the first half of the film, as well as a proper intro to Eddy Brock and why he grows to hate Parker and Spiderman.

Personally, I say the sequel should have only one villain and one villain only: Doctor Octopus. Outside Green Goblin, he is the greatest foe Spiderman has. Another villain I would love to see would be The Lizard, but that is just me. While seeing Harry as the Goblin could work for a sequel, I don't know if it would be successful having the same villain in both films, even if the villain is the son of the original.

I bet that there ends up being a "Spider-Man" trilogy with these villians:

First: The Green Goblin
Second: Doc Ock and The Lizard
Third: Venom

Still, I 'd like to see a "Spider-Man" movie starring Michael Clarke Duncan as the Kingpin. That would be just plain cool...

I think in spider-Man 2 they will introduce eddie brock to tease people and that could help set it up...like make spidey screw brock some how in the second then he gets back at spidey in the 3rd. I do like the idea of either Doc Ock or the Lizard in 2 or just Doc ock...i dont think Lizard could carry a solo story. Just as long as they dont go the way of Batman&Robin, and make like the Lizard doc ocks pet like they did bane...*shudder*.

No way! I see the Lizard as an interesting story by himself, considering that it is the dual nature of one man. In a way, a Lizard/Doc Ock team-up would be perfect, considering that Octavius is the way he is in both forms, and the Lizard is only that way in his reptilian state.

A couple more things I was thinking now: looking over this "Spiderman: The Ultimate Guide" book I own, I realized a couple more things that could be done. One would be a team-up between the Chameleon and Kraven, partially because both are half-brothers who can't really stand one another for much time. (something about Kraven being upset with his father for having a mistress on the side, who is the Chameleon's mother) Another idea for the Venom movie would be to have Mysterio as the villain for the first half, considering that when he appears, Jameson touts him as a hero who could bring an end to Spiderman. And what better way to enhance the "Spiderman menace" than an alien symbiote.

All right boys I think this is somewhat official... I just heard an interview with Kirsten Dunst about the sequel and she said that not only are they thinking and are what sounds like 90% locked on Doc Ock, but the Lizard as well!!!! WOW that will be a good one...

Well, The Lizard is in SPIDER-MAN, at least his character is, as is Doc Ock, and you just knew they would be in the sequel. ANd then of course Venom for SPIDER-MAN 3.

But why has no one mentioned this for the third or fourth films?

Well that is news to me. I mean, I know it would be possible to see Kurt Conners in this movie, but they have Octavius as well? Guess my hunch about the sequel was correct after all. (but then, someone else did play Harvey Dent in the first Batman movie.)
