I made another website, to go along with the other classic cartoon video guides. The listings are probably incomplete, so let me know what I left out!
The Walter Lantz Cartune Video Guide (http://www.geocities.com/lantzvideo/)

That's great, video guides are always handy!

Also, some new images have been added to the WOODY WOODPECKER AND FRIENDS page, once again, thanks to Jon Cooke. I also found images for the A&C tapes, so they're added too.

Nice job, Thad!
You might consider listing the Lantz titles on the A&C Meet the Monsters tapes. Even though they're repeats of shorts on the other A&C videos, it might help someone who's considering purchasing them.
On the first eight titles released, the name of the cartune included was listed on the box. On the A&C Meet the Monsters set, there's just a little blurb on the back that says "Includes Theatrical Trailer and Woody Woodpecker Cartoon Short!" (FWIW, "Abbott & Costello Meet Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde" doesn't even have the trailer; there's just a short scene from the movie itself, kind of like what the early Flintstones episodes do.)

Thanks! I just added the A&C Horror Movie titles this morning. For some reason, I could find all of the A&C tape images, but I couldn't find A&C Meet Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde's cover. If anyone has a scan of it, I'd appreciate getting it.

If you're smart enough to make so many webpages at age 12, you must be a genius. Do you parents help you?

I make them all by myself. I've looked over all of the HTML stuff that I need to know to make a webpage. In fact, I've been offered by my dad's group (I forget what it was) to make a website for them, and get PAYED for it! :D

Hey Thad... and everyone:
I've just learned that Universal's UNIVERSAL MATINEES tape series, several years ago, contained vintage black-and-white Oswald cartoons, one per tape, along with the main feature and another 1930s short subject.
This is a new discovery to me. I don't have any of the tapes: they contain such things as Buck Jones westerns, which I'm not fond of. But the important thing is that Universal *has* been releasing its cartoons in some capacity. It would be good to have tapes devoted just to them, but beggars can't be choosers for now.
I unfortunately can't seem to find out which cartoons are on which tapes. If only I weren't stuck in Denmark at a time like this...

Well, doing some looking around at Google and Amazon, I found out that these videos are in the "Universal Matinees" series:
Law for Tombstone
Stone of Silver Creek
The Ivory-Handled Gun
These came out in 1998 so they might still be available. Of course, renting might be an option, but I don't know how many stores would have picked up these ancient westerns. As far as I can tell, these are the only ones in the series, and all are westerns starring Buck Jones. I can't seem to find anything on the cartoons included, though.

I am too dumb to make avatars, and I am 14. You, Dark EJ310, are 1000 times smarter than me!

The bad news is that those "Buck Jones" videos that came out several years ago, did not contain any Oswald cartoons. But instead had the Walter Lantz "Cartune Specials" from the late 30s.
I bought the entire volume set just for the Lantz cartoons, and I was really disapointed that there wasn't any "Oswald The Lucky Rabbit" or 'Pooch The Pup" cartoons on this set.

Now for the $64 question... :)
What Lantz cartoons are on those "Buck Jones" tapes anyway?

I forgot what the third Lantz cartoon is, but it came out in 1938 featuring Hollywood Stars at the Hollywood Bowl
But here are the other two titles on the "Buck Jones" tapes
THE ONE ARMED BANDIT(1939)
GHOST TOWN FROLICS(1938)
I'll let you know what the name of the other cartoon as soon as I find out...

Thanks, Nelson. I went out and looked for those videos today and didn't find them at the closest Saturday Matinee movie store (I looked under "Western" and "Classics" and still nothing). I have never seen any B&W Lantz cartoons and am very interested in these videos.
Also, I can't see your avatar. :(
