Question Batman Beyond

What happened exactly in "Unmasked"? And will the show be renewed again for another season??? (I know, I know, I'm a bit outta the loop.)

Unmasked wasn't much of an ep. But, here's a run-down:



Terry recalls a time when he unmasked himself to a 8 year old kid to save his life.

On a burning building, the kid was scared out of his wits when he saw Batman. he thought he was some sorta of demon [that's what I got out of it anyway]. So, to save the kid, Terry took off his mask, showing him he was just a normal guy.

Then he went on to tell about how it was all over the net and everybody was asking the kid what Batman looked like.

Then, Kobra heard about this and got the kid. They had some machine that took images/memories from a persons head. They were hoping to get Batman's true identity, and destroy him.

The thing was, the Kid actually saw Terry as his favorite Action Figure, Soldier Sam (I think that was his name). So, they never really found out.

Then at the end, the kid was playing soccer at school. He kicked the ball too far out and it rolled by Terry. Terry picked up the ball and handed it to him.

Max (who I failed to mention before, sorry) asked how Terry knows the kid won't tell the world wha the really looks like. Terry replied "it was hot and smokey on that roof. I doubt if he even knows what I really look like"

"How would you know?"

"That was him", he said, pointing to the kid he gave the ball back to.

Terry and Max walk off, and the kid looks over his shoulder and grins.

And as for it being renewed...nope. No chance what-so-ever.

Maybe they can renew it for Cartoon Network after Justice League is over! Sure the animation and maybe the voices and the writing might be a little different, but if they pulled it off right, they could! I really hope they renew it for 2 more 13 episode seasons myself.

Do you still think there is a chance of Batman Beyond having Direct-To-Video releases though?
