I am a big fan of GL.He my favorite characther in the comics, but I dont think JL his doing the characther any justice.First of all he the worst GL.John Stewart was a maniac.Second he has the most powerful ring in the universe but yet he still gets defeated often.Third in the comic books the ring create whatever your mingd can imagine like hitting a villian with a hammer made from the ring or catching maybe a citizen from falling of a building with a fishin net while in the cartoon he just has sheilds, domes, and beams.Hopefully maybe Kyle can come in and do this he would also make a good buddy for the Flash.

And even if he isn't in this universe, there's NO reason that he can't make some constructs and lose his "no-nonsense" attitude that everyone seems to love.
And NOBODY should reply "I don't want to see him making giant bunnies" or whatever the cliché anti-Kyle argument is, because John can make tanks, weapons, and practical items and still maintain his precious "no-nonsense attitude"

I don't know what John's job is in animated continuity. because it hasn't been discussed. but i wouldn't worry considering tomorrow well see some pretty cool constructs.

I just want to say I like John Stewart and his no nonsense attitude. All the characters should have distinct personalities that set them apart from the others. Personalities are shaped by a persons experiencesand incounters.Johns led a life that demands he act in this fashion.

Life doesn't DEMAND that you act in one fashion or another. Could you elaborate on what you meant? Maybe I just didn't understand.

You're right Demand is a too strong a word. Influenced is a better term.

I don't think anyone is placing the blame on the right person. Whatever he makes is up to the artists and at time writers of the show. theres no way to say on character or another would have made somethin differnt. i will admit stewart is more of s strait forward person and would make something rather simple. but i can live with that
Now Steward is obviously a great character. and while i wanted to see either Jordan or Kyle as GL I think Steward is good for the show. he has a very differant personality and way of thinking.
"Father why am i always following in your footsteps" (connor before he nailed a out of control Sentinel with an arrow) (oh and i do realise the quotes a bit off)

John Stewart was a great addition to the JL. In the animated series his background is that he was in the military(its supposed to be explained in the Metamorpho episode, forgot where I read that from). I'm glad that he's staying as a member and that their not going to change him.

What do you mean: "In this universe?"
