I was watching Nickelodeon a few minutes ago and I ran across the Scooby-Doo movie promo.

This promo was was okay. It showed mostly Scooby-Doo and Shaggy scenes. The CGI Scooby looks okay although I was looking for a much larger dog. In one of the scenes, Scooby was riding a motorcycle and it looked kinda cool.

I was laughing everytime I heard Matthew Lillard (Shaggy) talk. His Shaggy voice was okay, but it was still hilarious to listen to. He sounded like he was trying to be an old woman being scared to death.

Linda Cardilini (Velma) looked hot. She was only in one scene in the promo, but I didn't care, as long as I seen her.

I don't think I saw Freddie Prinze Jr. (Fred) or Sarah Michelle Gellar (Daphne) in the promo (they might've been), but who cares...

The costumes and characterizaton was on the money (mostly). Lillard looked like Shaggy (a little buff though), with the trademark outfit and the messed up hair. Cardilini looked like Velma with the glasses and the outfit. As for FPJ and SMG, I really didn't see them in the promo (I may be wrong), but from earlier pictures...FPJ looked like Fred, but SMG looked kinda "slutty", but maybe we just didn't see that side of Daphne in the cartoon.

Well, that's all. The promo will definitely be shown on CN if it hasn't already (I was watching Nick when it came on). And we'll see Scooby-Doo in the theatres on June 14th.

I saw one where Daphne was beating up some wrestler. I didn't see all of it though. There was a part were Scooby was being worshiped or something like that, I don't really know.

I saw the trailer. As long as Warners concentrates on the scenes with Shaggy and Scooby, they could have a hit on their hands.

That shouldn't be a problem, the cartoon always focuses on Shaggy and Scooby, so why not the movie? But judging from the scene with Daphne and the wrestler during the promo, the movie may focus on everyone.

And why wasn't Fred (Freddie Prinze Jr.) anywhere to be scene on the promo. His name wasn't even shown? He's just as important as everyone else (even though I personally hate FPJ)
