Hope I didn't build up this post too much. But seriously, this forum's as dead as Bruce Wayne's parents! Time for some new threads(and I don't mean clothes.)

Hollywood used to make a lot of movies based on novels. Today, there is a big trend to translate video games and comics into films.

What established character, from the Batman universe, video games, whatever, would you most like to see in their own movie?

I believe it is very possible to make a great movie, based on the Street Fighter universe. Not that you'd know it from watching the Van Damme flick. I like the Animated Movie from '93 though. Though I'd have liked them to make the film a little tighter, with a deeper plot, and more interaction, asside from brawling.

I've already said how much I'd like to see a Green Lanter filck.

Finally, they are making Resident Evil, which, I believe, has a lot of potential. I think they need to find a blance between Sam Rami's "Evil Dead"-style and the pacing and staging of "Die Hard."

I don't think this forum is dead at all. Just becuase it's not as popular as AniGen or BB doesn't make it unpopular. I've ntoiced a small resurgance here which I think is going to buoild up more and more as Justice League approaches. When this board goes JL-Only, I think it'll be huge. Plus, alot of posters are aware that the Batman/Superman topics are going over to the BB Board come November, so they're just not posting here, and making a mistake (I think). An off-topic thread isn't gonaa save the board. The only thing that will is the fans who want to post here. The fans wil post here if they want. I happen to dig this forum alot, and it's been gaining steam again.

Besides, with Batman & Superman off the air, it is only natural.

I meant this board seemed to be slow lately. Dead was the wrong word.

I didn't mean to be insulting, or suggest that I would be the boards salvation. I guess it came across that way though. My bad.

I was, more, trying to encourage people to post more. I like to see a lot of new posts and replies when I come here(which is a lot.) Sorry if I came off like a jerk. I must have been channeling Ken's chi for a moment there.

i would like to see a movie about batman lite or batman jr. that's right, i mean nightwing. it could show that he doesn't want to be like batman but then he is really similar to him than he would like to admit.

Well, what can we do to pump this place up? We got SUPERMAN and BATMAN here! Two of the richest characters in history, and we stil can't get anything going.

i like this board all though i do not post at it much. i guess i just do not think as much of batman or superman cause the lack of their shows. i need to pick up some comics when i get some money. like the some superman. and the second rising stars trade paperback. it should be good the first one was great. the series is kinda more of a dc type of book although its on top cow which i do not normally read much of . but a friend told me about it and i loved it.

I've heard alot about RISING STARS and I may try and pick up their tpbs. It does suck that there's a major lack of BATMAN & SUPERMAN around. Hopefully that'll allchange inna couple months.

Yeah I really wouldn't worry about the board. Geez, it's just like the Batman Beyond board back in the day. Then it BOOOMED. It's so freaky! It's like we're repeating WF history all over again.

And I won't say it here cuz I say it in all my posts, but yes I agree, we need more Batman and Superman back on our TVs!!! :rolleyes:
