Boston Rob certainly shook things up last week by getting in everyone's face, but nobody wanted to shatter the illusion of their relationships, so Rob was cast off. Tonight, the survivors enter their 22nd, 23rd, and 24th days on the island. These final 9 are guaranteed to appear in every episode until the finale, when 7 jury members will decide the winner between the final 2. Here's our lineup of the new Soliantu tribe:

Kathy
She blindly trusted Boston Rob and has somewhat distanced herself from the rest of the group. Now she's paranoid AND annoying. I guarantee she won't last very long. Maybe half an episode?

Neleh
She sucks. The only thing she has going for her is her bond with Paschal.

Paschal
He's old, he's passive, and he's been away. I don't think most of these people would have a lot of trouble writing his name down at tribal council. If they can spell it.

John
What an irritating male nurse we have here.

Robert "The General"
Not likely to fly below the radar. I could see this man accidentally setting fire to the camp later in the series.

Sean
Should've been gone by now.

Tammy
Seems like a good sport and decent competitor. But when she smiles, it's like a joker smile. She must have 100 teeth. Can we trust her?

Vecepia
If she says there's too much drama in this tribe ONE MORE TIME, I'm gonna drama all over her face.

Zoe
Eh.

The most painful part of this show is seeing Hunter in the theme song every week. Just imagine what this season could've been! OK, she's started already.

This was an "ehh" episode.

Next week's Thursday (not the Wednesday 'catch-up') looks like it might be more interesting...

The immunity challenge was a VERY useful tool. John's crew blatantly revealed their entire voting strategy in their blind grope for immunity. Sean used this to his advantage by recruiting the clearly alienated Vecepia, Kathy, Neleh, and Paschal. At tribal council, Tammy chose to save her own ass by hanging on to her immunity, but it didn't really matter, because now she's gone either way. Although, in her defense, someone from her side was definitely going to go. Better John than her.

But I don't think anyone in John's crew saw this coming.

The fifth funniest moment in this episode
When John arrogantly said, "It was a beautiful gesture on Kathy's part, but an eighth of Snickers ain't going to change my vote."

The fourth funniest moment in this episode
When John pompously said, "Neleh and Paschal are really supporting my success in this game. Knowing that you can rely on those two people is like having two free passes. This is an amazing experience. It's actually kind of mind blowing."

The third funniest moment in this episode
When Paschal wasn't giving his sorry-ass kite any slack, and Jeff Probst said, "Paschal, what are you doing?"

The second funniest moment in this episode
Sean catching John's air kiss and slapping it on his ass.

The funniest moment in this episode
John breaking out into tears at the end of his goodbye speech.

I completely agree. I haven't laughed that hard in a really long time. There's nothing like a male nurse openly weeping over his own stupid failure to make me chuckle. Interesting tidbit: didja know that Rob "outed" John in the episode where he asked him[John], "So you're gay, right?". Apparently, until that point, john had never openly revealed himself as a homosexual. I just thought it was interesting.
