Samurai Jack. He's serious, dutiful, and competent. His show also has the most plot, which is a BIG plus for me in a show. He shows animation can be respectable and as serious as live-action.

I voted for Buttercup who is the toughest and the coolest Powerpuff Girl. Her only downside is that E.G. Daily often goes into her Tommy (from Rugrats) voice when doing Buttercup...and that makes her sound dorky :(
