Guys and Gals~
While coming back from Europe a couple weeks ago I was shocked after two inflight movies (a verrrrry long flight) to see the announcement of a cartoon fest about to come on. I hurriedly grabbed the darn earnphones and was treated to a showing of... "Come On In, The Water's Pink" (Pink Panther), "Long Haired Hare" (Bugs), and "Snowbody Loves Me" (Tom and Jerry by Chuck, save your booing and hissing;)). Soooooo does this sort of thing constitute a theatrical showing??? To me it does... Just curious about y'all's opinion...
I think so, the screen was bigger than average and there were people sitting like an audience around you. Sounds like a decent show, a Pink Panther cartoon, one of the best Bugs Bunny cartoons, and one of the better Jones T&Js.

If you're planning to go out in the lobby for a smoke, just watch that first step...it's a doozy!

That sounds great!
I don't know why but I can sit through Chuck jones' Tom and Jerry.
Okay there not the best Tom and Jerry that we all grew up with and love BUT there not terrible.
They used to get showed more than the Hanna-Barbera/Quimby cartoons on CN UK,Luckly they changed that and show about 1 every 2 months.:D

I'd have to rule that a 'theatrical' showing is one in which an audience paid to see the show.
On-board movies are not the reason the people were on the plane, so...

You're so lucky...
All I got on my plane to Ohio from Georgia was a bag of pretzel mix and a cup of Diet Sprite.
How was the print quality?
Hey Patrick, it seems Toon Zone is on the fritz again, only it seems like it's just certain people having lots of trouble, so Sogturtle told me to tell you:
From Sogturtle:
The visual quality of the cartoons was extremely good. My sister came back on a different airlines from Europe, and her flight also had cartoons!!!
I wonder what airline he flew.
