Issue #26 of The Powerpuff Girls went on sale today, Thursday, April 17, 2002. Here is the official solicitation from DC Comics:

This is a cute idea. I would really like them to take some of the comic book stories and turn them into episodes. Sometimes I like the PPG comic more than the show...it just pushes more boundaries visually.

For some reason I'm imagining an alternate page 5 where after "Well...", the Professor's face grows hideously angry and shouts "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!"

I always wondered why they want kids to sell junk to their relatives and friends instead of door-to door. Why would I want to rip-off my relatives and friends?

The GS cookie manufacturers *have* to make good ones, or they'd get accused of doing a disservice to a Cherished American Institution. Terrible PR.

BTW: my favorite kind are the Thin Mints.
