I'd really like to see images from the ending, with Woody and the cat killing and eating the moose. If anybody has this on tape, I'd love to get it.

I have about two tapes that has Pantry Panic. It has the ending with Woody and the cat having a "free buffet"!

--one with the older-style Woody with the banded legs and red breast? "You know what? I'm still hungry." "Yeah?...So am I." I think I have that one on tape. I once did an impersonation of the cat in that short that was so accurate my mother, in the next room, couldn't distinguish which was the tape and which was me.... :)

I saw that cartoon once, I read at the old board that in the last scene, there is a decapitated moose head hanging from a tree.

Does anyone notice that Woody's voice changes in the end of this cartoon?

I just got a PD video today called Woody Woodpecker and Friends, with the uncensored version of it. Very gorey for a classic cartoon. I feel sorry for that poor moose. I always thought he started ramming at Woody and the cat, so I didn't feel as sorry for him. However, after actually seeming it, it seems rather cruel. Also, Pietro, if you're reffering to the ending, when Woody's voice changes (when he says "So am I") Lantz did that alot with the character in the early ones, making immitations of famous radio stars of the day. I know he does it in "Knock, Knock" and "The Loan Stranger" but what else?

Like most Woodys, I haven't seen this since the very early days of FOX owning channel 5 in New York, the last time they showed them without edits or apologies. Thanks for the stills YPS, and glad to see you back...:D
