According to DrudgeReport.com it looks like the Spidey movie is going to be keeping the Two Towers in the movie and we will even see them reflect off of Spidey's eyes. Hopefully this is true and we'll see some type of tribute to the WTC after the film is done.

Personally I'd rather see a tribute to the people that died. Not the building. But that's just me. :)

I didn't mean a tribute to the building but show the building reflecting in Spider-Man's eyes with something along the lines of "In rememberence of all those that lost their lives on September 11th" - something like that would be classy by Sony and just add something, IMO.

It would be classy of them.

Keeping the Towers in is a great idea. I hated the idea of digitally removing any shot of the WTC becuase it was disrespectful and felt like they were erasing the building from memory. I like the idea of it staying in, as it should.

I agree 100% Spider-Man
EDIT----------------------------------------------------------------------
From some of the early reviews coming out there is a couple of tributes to the WTC within the movie itself.

Digitally erasing it everywhere was an insult to the United States. Although I'm not a Spider Man fan, it is nice to see they will leave it in.

I reckon it's a good descision to leave it in.
Erasing the WTC from movies would be the worst thing to do as it's akin to trying to erase it from memory.
It's essential that we are reminded of Sep 11th as often as possible as this will help ensure that nothing like that will ever happen again.
And in the years to come I'm sure the images of the WTC will inform the generations not yet born about the true horror of terrorism.

Erasing the World Trade Center's existence from our popular culture would be another victory for the al'Qeada terrorists, on top of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks themselves.
I'm glad they're going to keep the World Trade Center in the movie.

I'm glad they're going to keep the World Trade Center in the movie.
When Sam Raimi was asked about the decision he said it was like losing a family member - at first it's hard to look at the picture but as time goes on you feel the strength to look at the pictures again. Sam felt that the same was true with the WTC - basically people were too hurt to look at them then but since that time people have begun to remember the greatness of the WTC and this lead to the decision to keep them in the film. Sam also felt that if they left them out the terrorists had won - and he didn't want to give them that victory.
I'm very glad that they did as I think it will prove to be a fitting tribute for one of the greatest tragedies of our time.
