Are Billy & Mandy best friends?

Of course they are best friends! I don't think its because they are the same type of person. Perhaps they just live close and that is why they are friends. Perhaps Billy is too stupid and Mandy hangs with him for sympathy. Or Mandy is too cynical and Billy is the only forgiving one to be around her.

Think of how Bosko and Hector work.....you have the cynical one and the stupid one. They play off of each other. Imagine if they were the same type. The show would get boring. That's my thought.
