What is Batman's costume made out of on the cartoon? I don't know so I would like an answer to my question, and if you could please give me the source of your information.

You know, there hasn't been any official explanation from the creators on this one. I'm sure the folks on this board will come up with their own guesses, but there really is no definitive answer on this one. Sorry.

Well, in the comics they all use Kevlar. So I assumed that that was what Batman's, and everyone else's, costumes were suppose to be made up of in the cartoon as well.

Special shiney kevlar that looks like vinyl.

How many times did it get torn up and blown up and burnt? I'm going with Spandex.

It depends. In the movies, it's rubber. In the comics, it's kevlar. In the old Adam West TV show, it was spandex/cloth. However, as for the animated series, I'm not sure. I remember it getting ripped apart and torn a lot, so it can't be made from a particularly strong material. Hm...

It probably is made from a combination of materials. Probably kevlar, that material on fireproof clothing, spandex, and that ski-suit material.

I know! It's made of SILK! J/K

It's probably spandex/cloth because it's always getting ripped and torn.

Only when he's fighting a major enemy.

I think he has a Rubber cape because he pulls it up for protection.
