Batman Beyond on YTV

Hey fellow Canucks,

I just received an email from the Canadian channel YTV confirming that Batman Beyond will be back on their fall schedule with a batch of the remaining episodes not aired! The show will likely pick up in September, when the rest of the fall schedule kicks in.

If you don't mind me asking, what part of Canada are ya from, A? I bet your pissed when YTV replaced BB with Mary-Kate & Ashley Olsen of all things!

Was I pissed? Oh yeah. But I got over since WB started showing all the new episodes, and changed the timeslot so bb would air two times a day.. :)

What part do I live in? I live in South-Western Ontario. In a city called Sarnia.

I live in southern New Brunswick. In the summer, I live near Moncton, for the rets of the year - Fredericton. I was suprised they dropped it so fast, especially since ROTJ was days from coming out. But still, thankfully I had WB to get my fill. Y'know, either way, from WB or YTV, we'll get to see Unmasked regardless! WOO-HOO!

I wonder if they'll stick it in the same afternoon timeslot or not. The timeslot was sorta convenient.

You serious? You liked that 2:30 timeslot? I hated it. I could never get around to watching it. I'd always have to program the VCR. I'd much prefer if they put it on Prime-Time.

I found it a bit convenient. I was usually up by 2:30pm and had nothing really to do. I was in University, and it just seemd like the best time. None of my friends wanted to do anything so "early" into the afternoon, so I just slacked around and vegged for the afternoon. Homework? Bah! Batman's on!

Oh, and Mr. Eye, incase you're a Buffy fan, YTV is bringin that series back too, regardless of the US network switch.

I just hope YTV doesn't rerun the same ep over and over. I remember them reruning the first season finale episode over and over for about two months. Over and Over, the EXACT same episode for TWO MONTHS! It was a cool episode and all, but after a while it just gets annoying :mad: Grrr....

THAT was annoying! Every time they did I kept thinking: "Why the hell ain't they showing a new episode?". I was even more suprised when they took off the show with no explaination.

Yeah I like Buffy. It's coming back? This might be extra very good news........At the Space Network website, they say that Buffy The Vampire Slayer is coming to their airwaves. So, could this be the older episodes?

Nope!...never heard of the channel...I know videotron doesn't offer it. :confused:

Oh, its Fox's cable channel, hence why its main programming is Buffy, X-Files, Ally McBeel, 20th Century Fox movies, etc...

Maybe DG gets it since he has satellite? I moved & lost my WB and UPN so I'm very happy that I'll be able to see the show again, even if I am behind everyone else.

We recently unsubscribed to FX, but it was an awesome channel. BTW - FX will reair FOX's special on PLANET OF THE APES after FOX airs it first. YTV will be getting new BUFFY, regardless of where it airs in the US. YTV gets their copies straight from 20th Century Fox, so they're good. As for the SPACE channel, as far I know, they'll air all the eps up to the end of the current season. BTW, ANGEL and ROSWEEL are back on SPACE as well next year. And I hear SPACE will be airing that DUNE mini-series again and...BATMAN! (1960s series)

They're bringing back Batman (1966)? Where did you hear this? They took it off the air last summer. I'm glad it might be coming back. It was just a fun show.

the clubbing scene is awsome here and there is so much stuff and things to do. You definetly have to walk on Saint-catherines street and Cresent to see the night life here....well I'm off to go party at the Vatican:D

Hmmm...lab technician...he wouldn't be working at the Montreal General Hospital?...My friends works there and a lot of people from new Brunswick and Toronto work there too with her :D

About Sizmos, I plan on going sometime soon. The problem isn't that I'm underage, it's that I don't have anybody to go with. Prcatically all of my friends don't want to go to them.

I just saw a commercial on YTV that Batman Beyond & Zeta will start airing on August 6 at 3:30pm ....woohooo! ...
but then later on they will only be airing Zeta for now they are starting with BB to introduce Zeta. Oh well, at leasts it's better than nothing. :)
