Check out this page of the Library Of Congress website. Many of the titles of these cartoons say "Nickelodeon", 1991/92. Do you suppose Nickelodeon actually BOUGHT some of these films at one point?

I think Nickelodean co-financed the computer colorized versions. It makes sense since they had exclusive rights at the time they were being digitally colored.
