To counter my other poll, what do you think is the worst form of animation (or your least favorite). Be sure to give reasons instead of being a bonehead and going "cuz it sucks!!!!!11"

Like you're other poll, I voted "other" as well since I believe it's all subjective.
But I do dislike digital animation. It's just plain ugly compared to traditional cel based animation, which isn't limited to North America. The Japanese have been using cel animation to crank out some darn good stuff (but are sadly moving towards digital), and so do the Europeans, from what I hear (but we don't see much of their stuff).

Well they're all cool in their own way, that's what I like if everyones art looked the same then it would be boring. There are also alot of diffrences even within various cultures.

Depends on what type of person you are. For me, if the storyline is good and the characters are interesting, I won't care what type of animation it is.

I voted for claymation because I personally like it the least of the other choices.

Yeah, you don't have to call it the WORST. Just tell us your least favorite.

I voted "other" for jiggle animation. It actually makes my eyes hurt trying to focus on it. Even jiggle commercials make me uncomfortable.

I rather love stop motion... CLAY animation can look pretty bad, with fingerprints in it and stuff, but the type used in Nightmare Before Christmas and a few movies since just looks awesome. I prefer it to CGI any day because it at least looks solid.

Its hard to put into words, but CGI animation just bothers me. Claymation is the same way. But on the otherhand, Nightmare before christmas and Final Fantasy were done really well.
Squiggle animation doesn't bother me that much but I dont' really like it either. But since its not used nearly as much as CGI, I didn't vote for it.

I voted for the artsy kind of animation. I don't like that strange stratchy looking art like a political cartoonist drew it. Don't put that in animation, no one wants to see that.
I can't believe so many people are against claymation. Claymation is fun. My favorites are Gumby, Davey & Goliath, Mr. Bill, The PJ's, and Nightmare before Christmas. Those are all distinct artists and some better than most cel animation.

Artsy Anime. In all honesty, it always depresses me and fills me with a slightly claustrophobic feeling... I know that is a big generalization, but that's what the thought of the subject does to me..

Not a fan of clay either - especially Nick 'Chicken Run' Park's work. Not my cup of tea. Hmm, cup of tea... what a good idea...
I don't like shaky or squiggly or jiggly or whatever you're supposed to call it animation. I can truthfully say that I don't watch a single show done in that style. It hurts my eyes.
Artsy style tends to annoy me...

I don't really care for stop-motion animation. I like some claymation and artsy animation, but their not my favorite kind.
I don't like CGI because it just doesn't look right sometimes - I don't mind it being used in cartoons if it blends in, but I do hate when you watch a cartoon and you point out and say" wow that looked fake"
100% computer animated movies as Toystory and Ice Age are ok cuz that is the style of the movie. It's just the mix of old skool cartoon and CGI that makes my toenails curl.

There is one other style of animation. I'm not sure what they call it, but South Park uses it. The kind that cut and paste. But they do it so well, I don't even notice it's like that. It looks 2d animation.

Squigglevision is what it's called.

I voted for CGI because it makes everything appear poor. Japanese animation is not much better.

Oh, you mean like that dumb show Ed Edd n Eddy. I agree completely. It just looks crappy.
I wonder why so many people are against claymation... I like it alright. And why in the world would anyone think anime's the worst kind?!! Are you kidding me?!
I voted for the artsy kind..like with O Canada. Claymation can look pretty bad sometimes, but there are exceptions. It doesn't always look bad. Like with any kind of animation, it just depends on the artist's style.
If the "Squigglevision" or whatever it's called had been on the poll, I would've voted for it instead. Anyways, I basically don't like animation that looks like crap. If it looks like it was drawn by a two-year old...I don't like it.
