View Full Version : How About a 'Toon Wanted' Thread?

Instead of each individual posting names of of desired 'toons on separate threads (which eventually get buried), we set up a thread which will remain at the top of the list (flagged 'important' maybe?) to which members could post lists of 'toons desired.

This would require common courtesy from posters, to remove names as they are received (or to re-state the continuing need).

If this would not be done, maybe a Mod could take it upon her/himself to delete "dead" postings?

This seems like a way to fill in missing slots in our collections much faster - what do you all think?

I'll Start:
6/11/01 - happyheathen is looking for:
Africa Squeaks
Wise Quacks
Unnatural History

So, Whadda Think?

I simply love the idea happyheathen, just have a special post on the very top of the board and call it "The Tape Toon Trade Post"

And it's like I said just the other day....

For the guy looking for Tom and Jerry cartoons...

I do have The Little Orphan, unedited, on tape. In fact, I also have the phony Cinemascope remake, Feedin' The Kiddie, also on the same tape!

Just in case you were pondering, I wanted to let you know I have those two, but nothing else on your list.

I already have a Yahoo club set up specifically for this purpose. Just click here. (http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/classiccartoontradersclub) If that link doesn't work, simply click on my site and a link to the club exists there also.
