We'd like to extend a great big welcome to our good friend Craig Crumpton and the crew of Voice Actors in the News. You can check out their site at voiceactorsnews.com (http://voiceactorsnews.com).

Cool.
BTW, nice website.

(IDK what I was thinking when I put episode instead of website.)

Wow, I should check frontpage more often. Thanks for the plug! I wouldn't have even known about this thread if I hadn't done a search for an older topic I commented on.

Thanks for the welcome, everyone! We're honored to be a part of the toonzone family, and thanks ever so much to Harley and Zedd for their efforts in transitioning/upgrading the blog to toonzone.

How did I not know about this site before?Probably because I never actively promoted it. It was just a hobby, and seemed such a small niche part of the entertainment biz that I didn't think it would ever generate enough traffic to bother doing banner ads or affiliate links. I also didn't want to be one of those people who was plugging their site at every opportunity. It's kind of annoying when people do that to me anyway.

And I only set up the Facebook page for the sake of convenience: I had limited time for online activities -- or you could say a lazy approach to news reporting and preferred to microblog via FB and Twitter rather than taking the time to write news blurbs all the time.

But I did always have a goal of launching an actual website to offer more than just a news service.

And thanks to Harley and toonzone that dream has become a reality.
