I have now recieved a copy of the complete Speedy cartoon "Mexican Boarders", a logo-free copy from the days when Nickelodeon didn't have that big orange surf-board on the righthand side of the screen. And, on checking a clip I had taped from CN from the "Bugs Bunny's 1001 Rabbit Tales" movie, it's different! In one version (the movie) Slowpoke sings "La Cucaracha", leaving the "Marrijuana Par Fumar" line intact, while in the other, he sings "No puede caminar" twice. Did Nick do this, or did 2 versions indeed exist, a "drug free" and "fumar" version?:)

That sounds interesting, maybe they redubbed it for sindication. Do both "No puede caminar"s sound identical, or does Slowpoke sing it differently each time? I might have to add this information to my Slowpoke page...
